Vanna White Offers Co-Host Pat Sajak An Emotional Farewell Tribute As He Resigns From “Wheel Of Fortune”

Wheel of Fortune presenter Pat Sajak has had an amazing journey, but it is coming to an end. After 41 seasons and 8,010 episodes, the 77-year-old, who has been the show’s leader since its start, is now scheduled to retire from the syndicated puzzle game show on Friday, June 7.

Sajak has won three Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Game Show Host during his stay, and he is now listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest-running host on the same programme.

Vanna hite, his longtime co-host, recently gave a moving homage to him as his last episode draws near, celebrating their incredible collaboration that has lasted more than 40 years.

Sajak recently offered a touching pre-recorded message to the audience and the longstanding host who came before him during Sajak’s penultimate Wheel of Fortune episode. She reflected on their shared adventure and expressed shock that Sajak was retiring in her message.

The 67-year-old highlighted the close bond they established over the years and her thanks for his leadership and companionship. She highlighted his dual roles as a friend and mentor, narrating how Sajak’s encouragement enabled her to overcome her stage shyness upon joining the show as co-host, her first broadcast role.

White, who will continue in her work with Ryan Seacrest as the new host, revealed that her relationship with Sajak went beyond their professional relationship and into their personal lives. Their relationship was based on eating meals together, travelling the world, and spending time with each other’s families.

Even though they will no longer be performing together on stage, the 67-year-old showed continued respect for the 77-year-old. She affirmed her unwavering love for Sajak with the sincere words, “I love you Pat,” and spoke of him lovingly as a brother and a treasured longtime friend.
