As you likely know by now, Kelly Clarkson can sing anything. She’s the original American Idol winner, after all. What you may not know, however, is that the “Behind These Hazel Eyes” songstress seems to have passed those genes along to her children. Clarkson’s 8-year-old son, Remington, recently charmed the audience at The Kelly Clarkson Show with an outstanding cover of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” The adorably precocious performance had all the making of a viral moment, and go viral it did. “things that made me cry so far today: Remy, Kelly Clarkson’s son, singing My Way by Frank Sinatra on his mommy’s show,” one viewer wrote on X/Twitter.

Later, The Kelly Clarkson Show viewers got an exclusive look into how Remy is handling his newfound fame. And it seems the young vocal prodigy is ready for his close-up.

Kelly Clarkson’s Son Racks Up Over A Million Views

Typically, Kelly Clarkson keeps her kids out of the spotlight. But Remy and his 10-year-old sister, River Rose, joined their mom on set during the Jan. 8 episode for a rare public appearance.

River discussed her songwriting, and Remy gave some insight into the life of a viral Internet star. “Yeah, how much views did I get again?” the young performer asked his mother. (Well, he’s certainly got the confidence down.)

Perhaps Clarkson should take some cues from her youngest child. “I said, “Man, buddy, you’ve got like over a million views,” she told the audience. “And he goes, ‘Do you get that many views?’”

As the crowd roared with laughter, Clarkson joked, “I was like, ‘Calm down. And, not often.’”

“Who Do I Have To Talk To To Sing My Song?”

Much like their mother, Kelly Clarkson’s children feel perfectly at home onstage. In fact, the Grammy winner says Remy’s performance wasn’t even her idea. In fact, he strode briskly onto the set and firmly requested his chance at the microphone.

“He literally said, ‘Who do I have to talk to to sing my song?’” Clarkson said, much to the crowd’s delight. “I was like, okay. So, of course, we made it happen, and he walked right to the bandstand and chose 6one of his favorite tunes.”
