Adam Lambert delivered a powerful rendition of a Duran Duran hit during the season 22 finale of NBC’s The Voice.

On Tuesday evening (Dec. 13), the Queen frontman and award-winning singer took to the NBC Studios stage for a live performance of Duran Duran’s “Ordinary World.”

Lambert, who performed his version of the iconic rock hit, stunned while performing the piano-driven ballad that allowed his powerhouse vocals to shine vibrantly. Donning all white and surrounded by white drapery and props, the 40-year-old singer somberly performed the tune in honor of the victims who lost their lives in the mass shooting that occurred at Club Q in Colorado Springs and the LGBTQ+ community.

Lambert’s cover of “Ordinary World” will appear on his upcoming new album, High Drama, which will feature 11 tracks. The diverse collection of tunes span from classics such as Ann Peebles’ “I Can’t Stand The Rain” and Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out For A Hero,” to modern hits like Billie Eilish’s “Getting Older,” Sia’s “Chandelier,” Kings Of Leon’s “Sex On Fire,” Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast,” and more.
