Cole Hauser’s parents divorced when the young actor was two years old. It took the youngster seven years before he got to know his father after seeing his name during the ending credits of a movie on Television.

Cole Hauser’s most famous role has come from portraying the character Rip Wheeler on Paramount Network’s hit series “Yellowstone.”

The actor’s parents are some of his biggest supporters, especially his father, who is also a cowboy and an actor himself.

Cole and his father have not always been buddies because the young actor was raised by his mother, and it took him nine years before he even knew who his father was.

COLE’S CHILDHOOD

Cole Hauser was born to his father, Wings Hauser, and mother, Cass Warner. His mother is an award-winning writer and producer and the founder of the production company “Warner Sisters.”

His parents divorced when Cole was only two years old, and Cass raised the youngster as a single mother. She also never remarried.

Cass described Cole was born at dawn on a ranch in Santa Barbara, and growing up, the youngster was always interested in life and living fully.

He was also very curious, and, at five years old, Cole would wander into the Oregon woods to explore with the family’s two Irish setter dogs.

Cole would always show up later with a smile on his face and, after lunch, hop on his small cinnamon pony and practice sliding over her head.

COLE’S REUNION WITH HIS FATHER

Cole was about nine years old when he watched a movie in which his father appeared. The youngster did not recognize him, but he saw the name Wings Hauser during the ending credits.

Afterward, he went to his mother to demand an explanation as to who Wings Hauser was, and Cass subsequently revealed Wings was his father.

His father, Gerald Dwight Hauser, became popularly known as “Wings” after releasing an album titled “Your Love Keeps Me Off the Streets” under the pseudonym Wings Livinryte in 1975.

Wings, an actor and director was born in Hollywood into a family of famous filmmakers and was destined to be a star himself.

The award-winning actor is known for his performance in movies like “Tough Guys Don’t Dance,” “Tales from the Hood,” and “The Young and The Restless.”

With more than 50 years of acting and over 114 movie credits to him, the actor was once honored by the Zeus Brothers Entertainment, who dedicated a vlog to him.

Soon after Cole found out who Wings was, the youngster moved in with his father when he turned 15 years old. The veteran actor subsequently mentored his young son and taught him the tricks on how to become an actor himself.

COLE HAUSER’S MOTHER

The actor’s mother, Cass Warner, was also born into a family of legendary filmmakers, and her father, Milton Sperling, was an award-winning writer and producer.

Cass would follow Milton to the Warner Bros Studios as a child, and the little girl was allowed to roam as much as she wanted.

These tours and the experience inspired her and fanned the flames of her filmmaking passion. Afterward, she studied acting with the iconic Milton Katselas.

She also learned screenwriting from her father and Howard Koch of Casablanca fame. Cass subsequently created her own production company called Warner Sisters.

In 2008, Cass created a documentary titled “The Brothers Warner” to provide viewers insight into the family and their filmmaking legacy. She also started a series called “Conversations with Cass,” where she talks with some of the most respected and famous actors in the movie industry.

Cole was raised by his mother in large parts, and the pair are very close. He supported her nonprofit organization called “The Dream Factory Project” by participating in a video conversation with his mother.

In the video clip, which was meant to encourage people to pursue their dreams, the actor recalled how Cass allowed him to attend acting camps as a teenager, inspiring him to follow his dreams of being an actor.

He explained he was affected by relating to people in a good way instead of a wrong way. The actor also admired his mother for her strength in the human spirit.

The actor also regularly posts their pictures and would mention Cass on his Instagram account. On December 17, 2017, he shared a now-deleted picture of the pair on horseback, which he captioned:

“My momma and I cruise(ing) the hills of Utah on horseback. Love (our) time together.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he also posted a picture of his mother with his wife and kids, indicating Cass was quarantining with her son.

COLE’S RELATIONSHIP WITH GRANDPARENTS AND THEIR LEGACY

Cole spent a lot of time with his maternal grandfather Milton Sperling, and the actor explained he learned a lot from him. He revealed Milton taught him to be honest, truthful, and to be a man in acknowledging his mistakes and moving forward from them.

Milton was a famous producer for both 20th Fox Century studios and Warner Bros. He also had a production unit within Warner Bros called United States Pictures.

The “Yellowstone” star praised his grandfather for being a very brilliant man and explained he studied Milton a lot as a kid. Whenever he had to make a decision, he would always do what he felt his grandfather would approve of.

The actor explained that his maternal grandparents are renowned for always being hardworking, coming over as Russian immigrants, and building a production empire like Warner Bros.

Cole’s maternal great grandfather Harry Warner was one of the founders of the legendary movie company Warner Bros.

Harry started as the owner of a bicycle shop before he sold it and used the proceeds to pursue a career in Hollywood along with his brothers. Together they set up a theater called the Cascade.

He served as the President of Warner Bros till 1956, when he and his brothers decided to put the company on the market. Sadly, Harry died two years later, aged 76.

Celebrating diversity and the differences between people in the world should be a given, regardless of what country or society you live in.

In recent years efforts have been made to promote inclusion in the many walks of life. Some areas have found more success than others, sure, but the overall message is clear: just because someone is different from ‘the norm’ they’re no less capable of fantastic things.

Just ask Kennedy Garcia, a girl who doctors advised be committed to an institution when she was a newborn. Kennedy, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, has Down syndrome and, as per Metro, doctors told her mother that she would have a low quality of life as a result.

They feared she would have to wear nappies as an adult and it would kinder if she were placed in a specialized institution for her own well being.

As it were, Kennedy’s mom Renee opted to kick them all out of the hospital room. She wasn’t about to give up on her baby, and time has proven her wiser than all the doctors who advised her.

Fast forward to present day and Kennedy has competed in state-wide dance competitions and modelled for top brands in the United States. She also battled against cancer, overcoming leukaemia with iron will and steadfast bravery.

Renee told Metro: “The night Kennedy arrived, I was heartbroken to learn she had the condition because I was being fed nothing but a negative, bleak picture painted by doctors and nurses who really had no idea what my child‘s future really held.

“It was only the next night when a kind midwife told me Kennedy was beautiful and just like her daughter, who also had the condition, that I felt a glimmer of hope.

“The first thing I asked was if her daughter could walk, because I really didn’t know what having the condition meant, and she just laughed. Her daughter was 16 and of course she could walk.”

Kennedy has certainly proved that obstacles are there to be broken. The youngster has modelled for American Girl and Justice Clothing and is signed with KMR Diversity and Dream Talent Management.

She regularly flies to Hollywood and New York to audition and take part in modelling jobs, but also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Matthew, who also has Down syndrome.

As for the doctors who wanted Kennedy placed in an institution, Renee has only one opinion.

“It’s shocking how misinformed they all were, and it was only 15 years ago,” she said. “I feel sad that I wasted time grieving for moments like prom dress shopping as I really had been led to believe none of the normal milestones would be reached.”

Renee and Kennedy now take the time to tour around schools, educating children of all ages as to what Down syndrome is and how they can support people they encounter who have the condition. Kennedy herself is quickly garnering a following on social media – she already boasts almost 70,000 followers on Instagram.

“We’re all incredibly proud of her and everything she’s achieved,” Renee explained to Metro. “She’s a wonderful girl and we are all so lucky to have her in our lives.”

What a brilliant story of triumph over the odds and a little girl who has refused to let anything stand in her way. Kennedy’s story really does put a smile on your face – we wish her all the very best moving forward.

Expanding your family as a parent is always a sweet feeling especially if it is with someone you love and are on the same page with.

Alec Baldwin married his wife Hilaria in 2012 and the two of them have been expanding their family together ever since…

The couple wasted no time in starting a family, welcoming their first child in 2013. They then had four more children together before adding a sixth child via a surrogate.

In April 2021, they shared the news that they were expecting their seventh child together – people were ecstatic for the couple, and happy that they were continuing to grow their wonderful family.

Hilaria excitedly shared the news about her daughter’s arrival on her Instagram account. She posted a selection of pictures and videos to her page, along with the caption: “She’s here! We are so excited to introduce you to our tiny dream come true, ilaria catalina irena”.

This is Alec Baldwin’s eighth child in total, but his seventh child with current wife Hilaria. He shares his oldest daughter, Ireland Baldwin, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.

In the aforementioned Instagram post, Hilaria offered some details about the latest addition to her and Alec’s family. She wrote that their daughter was born on September 22, 2022, weighing 6 lbs. and 13 ounces. She added: “Both she and I are happy and healthy.”

She then made another post expressing how excited the rest of her children are about the newest addition to their family, writing: “Her Baldwinito siblings are spending the day bonding and welcoming her into our home.”

She concluded the caption with: “Much love to you all. We are so happy to celebrate this wonderful news with you.”

The couple released an official birth announcement via People Magazine, reading: “How grateful we feel to welcome our newest little daughter into this world. Just as magical and filled with love as every other little person we have been blessed with.”

While the couple naturally adore their family, Hilaria Baldwin recently shared that not everyone understands their reasoning behind it being so… well, big. In a recent post she wrote: “7th baby: when people ask or comment, we often go to silly and very self-deprecating jokes on my part. I love to laugh at myself—so it’s all good…keeps me sane. All jokes aside, however, I am grateful for this experience.”

She explained her thinking further, stating: “I know too well the joys and the losses, the beauty and the heartache, that motherhood brings. I have learned to respect and embrace the wonderful, the hard, the uncomfortable, the magical, and the unknown of this incredible process I am so blessed to experience again and again.”

The couple is clearly happy with their family and are practically glowing at their latest addition – but not everyone congratulated them. In fact, certain individuals had a lot to say about their newborn’s name: Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin.

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin are known for selecting unique names for their children, often with Spanish origins. However, after the revelation that Hilaria isn’t of Spanish descent – and the accompanying controversy surrounding her alleged use of a fake Spanish accent and misrepresentation of her heritage in 2020 – people were taken aback by the name they gave to their seventh child.

“Her blatant trying to be Spanish is really quite irritating, why is it okay? Why does she keep trying? Have they really let it go to their heads that much,” someone wrote.

Another person wrote on Twitter: “Fake Spanish name from Boston-born mom,” while a second echoed: “Hilaria & Alec Baldwin had their 7th child. Not one American name, not even a middle name.”

A third said: “Alec Baldwin’s wife faking being Spanish is so crazy. Changing her name from Hillary to Hilaria, naming all 7 of their kids with those roots, pretending to forget the english word for ‘cucumber’, faking an accent. She should’ve changed her name to hilarious instead.”

It’s rare to see a celebrity today who has not had work done, especially because of the amount of pressure often placed on famous women. It’s hard to be a woman in Hollywood, but – even at 76 – Sally Field has defied most of the “rules” put in place.

We love Sally Field’s work in films like Forrest Gump and Steel Magnolias. Some of our favorite work from her, though, is not on the screen but instead in her personal approach to working against ageism in her career.

Born in 1946 in Pasadena, California, Sally Field rose to fame first in television series such as Gidget and The Flying Nun.

The now 76-year-old star developed into an impressive actress and activist, moving into film not long after her television career.

She starred in a plethora of iconic films, including Smokey and the BanditNorma Rae, Mrs. Doubtfire and Forrest Gump.

The actress recently received the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in February of 2023, where she gave a gracious acceptance speech that spoke to her impressive and storied career.

Field had already been awarded a list of awards in her career: two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Film Award nominations, three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes, two SAG Awards, including her most recent Life Achievement Award, and a Tony nomination.

A vocal activist, Field has often been described as ageless and talented. Her SAG Achievement Award speech was humble and helped to describe her complicated acting history.

“Offstage I felt shy and careful and hidden. But onstage I never knew what I would say or do. I would surprise myself. I wasn’t looking for the applause, or attention, even though that’s nice,” she confessed. “Acting, to me, has always been about finding those few, precious moments when I feel totally, utterly, sometimes dangerously alive. The task has always been to find a way to get to that.”

Styled in a beautiful black dress with her naturally gray hair, Field looked every inch a picture of beauty and grace.

“They opened and revealed parts of myself I would not have known otherwise. I’ve worked my whole life. In all of these almost 60 years, there is not a day that I don’t feel quietly thrilled to call myself an actor,” she explained.

When Field played Doris Miller in 2016, she spoke to NPR about her character–an aging, eccentric woman:

“I’m an old woman, 70 is old, and that’s okay. I’ve gathered strength behind my years, I owned them, I’ve earned them, I’ve deserved them, I have a right to have them. And I don’t like my neck, I don’t like a lot of things but it’s okay.”

This is not the first time Field has discussed the idea of aging naturally in an interview. Speaking with Good Housekeeping in 2009, she explained how she resisted the urge to get work done throughout her career:

“I see myself on TV and I say, ‘Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck. And your face is falling down, and your eyes are so puffy.’ But then I see some of the women (who have had plastic surgery) who I thought when they were younger were so beautiful. Now I think, Oh, dear, don’t do that! And it seems to be terribly disrespectful to who they are now.”

When everybody on a crowded bus ignored an old lady struggling without a seat, my poor boy gave up his spot for her, not knowing she would make us millionaires the next day.

I sat quietly on the bus, absorbed in my own world, when my son, David, caught my attention by standing from his spot. He had noticed an elderly lady struggling to find a seat amidst the indifference of the crowded bus and offered his own.

“Grandma, would you like to sit in my seat?” David asked, his voice loud and kind. His act of kindness was a small beacon of hope in a world that often felt too harsh. He took her hand gently, helping her navigate through the crowd to the seat he had vacated for her.

“Thank you, sweetheart. God bless you, dear,” the woman said, her smile warming my soul.

I couldn’t hide my pride in my son’s actions as I introduced myself. “Hello, I’m Kristen, David’s mother,” I said, extending a hand.

“I’m Barbara! Nice to meet you, Kristen,” she replied, warmly shaking my hand.

Little did I know that this encounter was about to change my perspective in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

Barbara began talking, praising David for his generous act, which brought tears to my eyes. “You have raised such a wonderful young man. I thought the world had lost its compassion until meeting David,” she shared, as I tried to disguise the moisture.

When Barbara noticed my tears and asked about them, I felt a sudden urge to open up to her.

“My parents died when I was young, so I was raised in an orphanage. David, my son standing there, is the oldest of my five adopted children,” I confessed, the words pouring as I truly needed someone to understand the weight on my shoulders.

Don’t get me wrong. The weight wasn’t a burden at all. It was a gift, but it was also a struggle at times, especially at that moment. Barbara’s face was soft and compassionate as I shared more about my struggles.

“My husband was so supportive, but after he died two years ago, it felt like my world ended. But I found new hope to live with these five kids. And now, my youngest son, Kevin, is battling for his life, and I’m so scared,” I added, sniffing.

Surprisingly, Barbara took my wrist and shared her own struggle: she fell in love with a man who once promised her a world full of riches, only to throw her out when she got pregnant. Still, she was determined to raise that baby with love.

Alas, it was not to be. Barbara’s baby died in childbirth, and since then her life hasn’t been as meaningful as she hoped. My heart broke for her. I wanted to hear more. But the blaring honk of the bus interrupted our moment.

This was our stop. It was time to leave, yet the connection I felt with Barbara was unexpectedly deep.

“I have to leave. We’re visiting Kevin,” I said, standing and quickly gathering my things.

“How can I be of help to you?” Barbara asked.

“Pray for my son. It was nice meeting you, Ms. Barbara,” I found myself saying, more out of a necessity to leave than a desire to part ways.

David and I stepped off the bus, leaving the kind older woman behind, her silhouette framed by the bus window.

As my son and I walked away, I couldn’t shake off the feeling of leaving something important behind. Barbara seemed like a kindred spirit, although we’d led two very different lives. I waved as the bus pulled away, not imagining that our paths would cross again.

Yet, life has a way of surprising us at the most unexpected turns. The next day, when Barbara walked into the hospital where Kevin was being treated, it was as if fate had decided our meeting was just the beginning of a much larger story.

“Ms. Barbara?!” I asked, my mouth opened in shock. “Wha—What are you doing here? Is everything alright?”

Instead of answering, she handed David a box of chocolates and some books, asking him to stay near his brother until we returned.

“But where are we going? Ms. Barbara, where are you taking me?” I wondered as she dragged me away. But she didn’t answer, and then, we reached a store.

“A pawn shop? Why are we here?”

Still, Barbara didn’t reply and pulled me inside. “I want to sell these!” she said to the pawn shop owner, opening the box to reveal an expensive necklace set.

“Are you sure you want to sell them?” the man asked after observing the jewels. “These are rare pieces. You may never get them back.”

“Yes, I want to sell them,” she insisted.

“Give me a second,” the pawnbroker said. “I’ll have to see if I have enough cash.”

An hour later, Barbara handed me a suitcase stashed with money, estimated to be around $1M.

“You sold your jewels for me?” The question escaped my lips in a whisper. “Ms. Barbara, I cannot take this money.”

“What am I going to do with such expensive jewelry? Nothing! Instead of letting them rest in my vault, I wanted to save your son’s life and make your life better…Because I don’t want you to regret it when you’re my age. You are like a daughter to me. I just did what a mother is supposed to do for her child,” Barbara explained, taking my face into her arms affectionately.

New tears gathered in my eyes, as the significance of her actions meant the world, especially to someone who had never had parents or family until I got married and adopted my children. I hugged her and never wanted to let go.

I was able to pay for my son’s heart surgery and set up the rest of my kids for the future. Meanwhile, Barbara’s role in our lives changed from a stranger on a bus to a beloved family member. In a gesture of gratitude, I asked if she wanted to move in with us and not be so alone.

“Will you be my mother and grandma to my children, Ms. Barbara?” I asked her.

She gently touched her heart and sighed, “I have found my purpose in life, at last!” shedding tears of joy.

A 1-year-old child has died in a Connecticut home after being fatally attacked by a dog.

East Hartford police spokesperson officer Marc Caruso said in a news release that police responded to the incident shortly after 3 p.m. local time on Wednesday, per CBS News.

“Despite the valiant efforts of medical professionals, who arrived on the scene and provided immediate lifesaving measures before transporting the toddler to the hospital, the child succumbed to his injuries,” Caruso said.

The woman, Crystal Rod, said the victim was her sister Keyshla’s “first and only son,” and he was her “first and only nephew.”

According to the GoFundMe, the boy was killed on his birthday.

“Today we would have been celebrating his first year of life at Chuck E. Cheese, however an unexpected tragedy occurred that claimed [Lennox’s] life,” Rod said.

In the post, the grieving aunt said she had been on the phone with her sister as Keyshla and Lennox played together on a trampoline at the home.

“The dog jumped in the trampoline and attacked both Lennox and his mother,” she said, adding that “Lennox was mauled to death.”

“Believe it or not it was the family dog and never in a million years would we have seen this coming,” Rod said of the Dalmatian — though some news sites have reported that the canine was mixed with a pit bull.

1-Year-Old Boy Dies After Dog Attack at Connecticut Home

As of Thursday, the Gofundme account for Lennox had received over $11,000 in donations for Lennox’s funeral services.

“If this page reaches you I hope you find it in your heart to spare what ever you can during this tough time every cent counts and every dollar raised will be used to give Lennox a proper going away service,” the aunt wrote.

Caruso said two dogs were removed from the home, per CBS News. They are quarantined at an animal shelter in South Windsor.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones as they mourn their loss,” the East Hartford police spokesperson said. “May they find solace and strength during this challenging time.”

East Hartford’s WFSB spoke to a neighbor who left her home just moments before the incident occurred.

“I missed it. I could’ve been there [to] potentially save a life. It was just a few minutes if I had stayed a few more minutes I would’ve been able to help the mom,” Catiria Delgado told the news station.

When this Hollywood star breathed his last, his daughter was devastated as she could not find him. But his presence was not the only thing she would miss out on. The actor had not included her in his will. Worried about her welfare, three of the actor’s costars gave up their salaries for her

This celebrated star was well recognized for playing The Joker, a psychopathic criminal mastermind with a warped sense of humor, in the superhero film “The Dark Knight.” In addition, the actor played many other roles, including in “Lords of Dogtown” and “I’m Not There.”

In 2004, during the filming of “Brokeback Mountain,” the actor met and fell in love with Michelle Williams. A year later, they welcomed their baby girl, Matilda Rose. Unfortunately, in 2007, the pair broke up, but the actor’s love for his daughter remained as strong as ever.

Director Terry Gilliam would say that the actor would put his daughter in his backpack, get in the tube, and go to his house to talk about a movie they were working on.

Sadly, in 2008, when Matilda was only two, her father passed on accidentally at his New York Apartment. Little Matilda could not understand her father’s sudden absence and constantly bombarded her mother with questions about him that Michelle did not know how to answer. She would always ask:

“Where’s my daddy?”

The Actor’s Costars Financially Rescue His Daughter

Right before he met his tragic death, the actor was in the middle of filming “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.” The film is about a traveling theatre troupe whose leader, having made a bet with the Devil, presents his audiences with a choice between self-fulfilling enlightenment or gratifying ignorance.

Upon the star’s death, the director, Terry Gilliam, did not know whether to scrap the film or replace him. With a little convincing from his daughter, he settled on the latter. He chose Hollywood A-listers Jude Law, Johnny Depp, and Colin Farrell to replace Ledger in the film and play the remainder of the parts. Gilliam said:

“Nobody asked how much they would be paid or if the part was right for them. They were all Heath’s friends, and they wanted to make sure the film was finished in his memory.”

Other A-list celebrities, such as Tom Cruise, offered to take over Ledger’s part, but Gilliam turned them down because they did not know the actor well.

While Gilliam worried whether replacing him with three actors made financial sense, the three were concerned about something else — his daughter.

In the act of extraordinary generosity, the three actors worked for nominal pay and took none of the payment to themselves, instead donating all their salary to Matilda. It would turn out that the star had not included his two-year-old daughter in his will.

Showdown for the Actor’s Millions

The award-winning actor, Heath Ledger, had written a will long before his daughter was born, leaving his estate, estimated at $118,000, to his parents and three sisters. He never updated the will after his daughter was born.

Under normal circumstances, that would mean his daughter was not eligible to inherit anything from her father. However, everything took a drastic turn a year after the actor’s death.

Ledger’s father, Kim Ledger, told The Sunday Times that his family would not claim any part of Ledger’s wealth and would instead give it all to the actor’s daughter. He said as Fox News reports:

“There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda.”

The decision raised a dispute between Kim and his brothers, with two claiming that Ledger’s father was not in a position to be the executor of the actor’s estate as he had mismanaged their grandfather’s estate years back.

However, Robert John Collins, an Australian executor of Ledger’s will, came to Kim’s rescue, saying the accusations against him by his brothers were rubbish. The claims led to quarrels between the brothers, who have since remained estranged.

Matilda was only two when her dad passed on, but it’s been 15 years, and she is now all grown. It is easy to see how the 17-year-old resembles her dad from rare photos of her available online. The resemblances are notable to her family members, including her grandfather Kim who said:

“She’s got an enormous number of his mannerisms. She’s very inquisitive. She’s got his energy cause Heath never slept from when he was two, and Matilda’s like that.”

Kim doted on his granddaughter, saying she was a ball of energy and radiated an aura just as Ledger had. In addition to taking after her dad, Matilda inherited traits from her mom, who works tirelessly to keep Ledger’s memories alive in his daughter.

What remains constant about the little girl is her endless questions in a bid to discover and get to know the person that her dad was while he lived.

Ledger’s family commends Michelle on the beautiful job she has done raising Matilda on her own since her father’s demise, and as the actor’s sister Kate Ledger would tell People:

“I think that she provides such a wonderful environment for Matilda to grow up in, especially in the sort of industry that she’s in.”

Kate referred to Michelle as grounded and noted how much Matilda resembled her late brother. She shared that everything Matilda does reminds her of her brother.

Simple tasks performed automatically by Matilda were similar to how Ledger would have done them, including things as simple as picking up a pencil and getting on the skateboard.

She also strives to keep her brother’s memories alive inside his daughter and tells People: “I tell her about her daddy every time we see each other. I tell her little stories of him growing up and how he used to chase me with the cricket bat.”

Despite having star parents, Matilda keeps quite a low profile, and any photos available of her are with her mother taken in different public places.

Robert Downey Jr. is known for his appearances in some of the biggest films in the industry like “Iron Man” and “Oppenheimer.” However, his journey and reputation in the industry have taken a few hits. Fortunately, Robert met his wife Susan who helped end his drug addiction for good.

Robert Downey Jr. is an award-winning actor whose name is often associated with the biggest stars in Hollywood. He has been part of major productions such as “Iron Man,” “Sherlock Holmes,” and recently, “Oppenheimer.”

However, alongside being counted among the greatest actors in the industry, his name has also been linked to his struggle with drugs and multiple relapses. Robert’s introduction to drugs began at a young age when he shared his first joint with his father at eight.

His mother struggled with alcoholism for a long time. But when the actor started making strides in his career, such as his Oscar nomination for “Chaplin,” he hit rock bottom when he drove down Sunset Boulevard naked.

The actor was then arrested for trespassing after entering a stranger’s house and falling asleep on a child’s bed. That was not the end of his problems. In 1999, he failed to appear in court and was sentenced to three years in California state prison. He served almost a year and, fortunately, landed an acting job on “Ally McBeal.”

As much as it seemed like the actor was getting back on track, he was arrested again in Palm Springs, where he was found with three bags of cocaine, a loaded gun, and a Wonder Woman costume. These behaviors led to his removal from “Ally McBeal,” and he was written off as a lost cause by David E. Kelley.

However, one person came into Robert’s life and inspired him to better himself: his wife, Susan Downey. Susan is a producer known for films like “The Book of Eli” and “Sherlock Holmes.” The couple had different upbringings: Susan was a dedicated student in Chicago, raised by her businessman father and a hands-on mother who was on a PTA board. She eventually graduated summa cum laude from USC.

On the flip side, Robert grew up in Hollywood and dropped out of high school. His director father put him in front of the camera at five in one of his underground films. But despite their differences, the two ended up in the same industry and met on the set of the thriller “Gothika,” which Susan was producing. The film starred Halle Berry, but the producer wanted to set clear boundaries and did not want to have any romantic connection with anyone on set.

Nonetheless, when the set crew went out for lunch, Susan recalled that Halle and the director joined them, but her first encounter with who would end up being her husband was very peculiar. While everyone ordered Japanese food, Robert brought out oatmeal and started raving about how much a superfood it was. He also brought a variety of herbs and started doing yoga poses. “I mean, he was interesting but weird,” recalled Susan.

Eventually, Susan gave Robert a chance and accepted his marriage proposal, on the condition that it would be a long engagement. The producer insisted that Robert should first give up drugs completely, and should he relapse, then she would leave.

However, Susan, 50, admitted that she did not know much about how difficult it was to battle addiction. “Addiction was so foreign to me. I was incredibly ignorant of the hold it had on people,” she expressed.

Robert loved that his wife was not familiar with the darkness of addiction. “If she knew the depths of my depravity, we would not be sitting here,” he admitted. The two then got married two years after their engagement in August 2005, in the Hamptons.

As one of the longest-standing couples in Hollywood, the couple has set rules on how to maintain a healthy marriage that works with their demanding schedules. Susan and Robert promised never to spend more than two weeks apart. Even when traveling, they always tried to find a way to cohabit. However, they found more opportunities to work together with Robert bringing his wife along on “Iron Man 2” and the comedy “Due Date.”

The more time they spent working together, especially after starting their production company, “Team Downey,” they reduced their two-week rule to a one-week rule. “Our feeling was, if we wanted to spend time together, have a life together, then we should just go ahead and make movies together,” said Susan Downey.

Robert recently won a SAG award for his performance in “Oppenheimer” and mentioned a list of actors that had been monumental in his career, but at the end of it, he had his wife’s name. He joked and thanked her for making it look like it was easy to be married to an actor of his caliber. Then he ended his speech by thanking his children, Indio, Exton, and daughter Avri Roel Downey.

Fans loved that Robert kept his speech funny as usual and pointed out how much they loved his wife, “One can always count on a witty speech from RDJ. Susan sure is amazing & they are a lovely couple. Congrats to RDJ for his well-deserved win!” remarked a fan. While another added“They are such a lovely couple. Congrats to RDJ for his well-deserved win!”

Fans also loved how much Robert always spoke fondly of his wife, “The way Robert Downey Jr. talks about his wife gets me every single time. He loves that woman, and she definitely helped craft him into the man he is today. Susan Downey, you are amazing!!!” remarked another fan.

The actor also shared a photo of him and his wife from the SAG Awards and thanked the organization for acknowledging the film. He shared another picture from the BAFTA award ceremony with his wife expressing how appreciative he was for the recognition of the cinematic work in “Oppenheimer.”

In another sweet Instagram post, Robert Downey Jr. shared a quirky picture of him and his wife, highlighting how much he loved that his wife handled his playful character, he wrote, “To she who lovingly tolerates my many shenanigans, I pledge my undying love.” After 18 years, the couple’s love is still in “bloom.”

According to media outlets, the couple tied the knot in secret in August of 1992, with only a few friends joining them for their special day. The two have remained blissfully married since then, and when they first wed, Brigitte’s friends told a news outlet that the “Contempt” star was happier than she had been in a while thanks to her sudden and secret marriage with Bernard.

Interestingly, before the two wed, Brigitte’s friends had expressed doubt that she would remarry after her last husband. Nonetheless, the two wed in a quaint little wooden church in Norway and lived together in Brigitte’s luxury 10-bedroom mansion in Saint-Tropez.

From the time they first met, Bernard has remained by Brigitte’s side, especially throughout her health scares. When French newspapers first reported that their beloved celebrity had allegedly overdosed on sedatives in 1992 while at home, Brigitte’s knight in shining armor quickly reassured the very worried public and explained:

“Brigitte was overcome with fatigue and took too much medication to go to sleep…she did not have her stomach pumped and was fine after a few hours.”

A spokesperson for the clinic where Brigitte was taken, further confirmed Bernard’s assertion that his wife was fine. However, years after her sedative scare, Brigitte faced another health battle.

Bernard explained that the cause of his wife’s respiratory problems was age and weather-related, citing an extreme heatwave circulating Europe at that time. Apparently, the air conditioning system in their La Madrague home was not functioning optimally.

Despite assuring the public of Brigitte’s wellbeing, a news outlet had alleged that she had stayed in the ICU. However, the “A Very Private Affair” talent set the record straight via a handwritten note:

“I want to reassure everyone. I am doing very well. The press caused a scandal with an illness that happened to me…”

Brigitte Bardot Was Recently Seen Out For the First Time In Years On Her 89th Birthday

Recently, the revered icon, who had respiratory problems earlier this year, was spotted out in a rare appearance. On her 89th birthday, paparazzi captured pictures of Brigitte enjoying a drive in the South of France.

The starlet was seen driving in a mini white van from her La Madrague villa to her abode in La Garigue. Her legendary blonde hair was tied back, only allowing a few loose wisps to frame her face. She also had on big sunglasses shielding her eyes from the sun.

Brigitte’s rare outing comes many years after she was last seen in public and a few months after emergency services showed up at her home to assist her with her breathing difficulties

Lisa Marie Presley — the only child of the late legendary singer Elvis Presley and his ex-wife, actress and businesswoman Priscilla Ann Presley — was a singer and songwriter. She was born into fame and fortune; her journey wasn’t a walk in the park. She experienced her share of troubles, including a highly publicized divorce and a bitter custody battle that lasted almost five years.

The singer had four children from two different marriages. Her youngest are fraternal twins Harper and Finley, whom she loved dearly. The twins, who recently celebrated their 15th birthday, have gone through a lot of changes and challenges in their lives, especially after their parents’ divorce and the subsequent death of their mother.

The Twins’ Arrival and Growing Up in the Spotlight

Harper and Finley were born via cesarean section on October 7, 2008, to Lisa Marie and her husband, Michael Lockwood, a guitarist and producer. At the time of their birth, Lisa Marie, who was 40 years old, had two teenage children from her first marriage to Danny Keough: a daughter named Riley and a son named Benjamin.

The twins were born with a flair for showbiz running in their veins, which is no surprise considering their mother and grandfather’s musical talent and charisma, not to mention their father, Lockwood, is also in the entertainment industry.

The girls didn’t want to be just spectators when they tagged along to shows. Their mother revealed they wanted a piece of the action, and they’d be itching to grab a mic and hit the dance floor. She added:

“At home, they act out scenes and have everybody sit down and watch them. They’re entertaining as hell.”

The entertainment gene is not the only thing Harper and Finley inherited. Glamor is part of the family package, too. One time, when preparing to go on tour, Lisa Marie shared that she had another mission to carry out, courtesy of her twins. They had turned her into a princess dress detective, scouring the cities and towns she toured for dresses befitting her little fashionistas’ style.

The Parents’ Divorce and Custody Battle

The twins’ happy childhood was disrupted by their parents’ divorce, which Lisa Marie filed in June 2016 after ten years of marriage. The divorce was messy and bitter, with allegations of financial mismanagement by Lockwood, who was in charge of his wife’s assets. At the time, her lawyer stated:

“They’re not trying to work it out and get back together. She’s done.”

Lisa Marie claimed that Lockwood was not a good father and that he had inappropriate photos of children on his computer. On these grounds, Lisa filed for full custody of the twins. Lockwood denied the accusations and accused her of ruining his reputation.

In retaliation, he filed for custody and spousal support. Amid this heated battle, rumors and speculations started going around that the girls had been placed in foster care. But in February 2017, Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla, cleared the air in a Facebook post.

She stated that her granddaughters were staying with her and had never been in foster care, nor would they ever be. She also clarified that they would be with her until the end of the custody battle. She reported that efforts were underway to handle matters with dignity and care, mainly keeping the well-being of the children in mind.

The twins also faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected their schooling and social life. However, they found a way to cope and help others by fostering puppies from a local animal shelter. Lisa Marie posted a photo of them holding an adorable dog and wrote, “We’ve been fostering pups from a shelter. Exhausting but so rewarding.”

After the protracted custody battle, Lisa Marie and Lockwood’s divorce proceedings concluded in May 2021, and the former spouses maintained joint custody of their twin daughters.

Lisa Marie’s Untimely Death

The twins suffered a devastating loss in January 2023 when their mother, Lisa Marie, died at 54. The cause of death was complications from a bariatric weight-loss surgery, which she had undergone several years earlier.

The autopsy report indicated that the cause of death was attributed to the effects of bowel obstruction, a common complication associated with weight loss procedures like bariatric surgery.

She had been rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after a 911 call reported a woman in cardiac arrest at her home. The report noted that she had complained of stomach pain earlier that day. She was laid to rest on January 22 in a funeral held at Graceland, the cherished home of her childhood that has since become a museum and pilgrimage site for Elvis enthusiasts.

Lisa Marie’s untimely demise left a void in the lives of her loved ones, including her three surviving children — her eldest daughter Riley and the twins Harper and Finley. Tragically, her son, Benjamin, had passed away in 2020. Her death was a big blow to the twins, who were only 14 at the time of her passing.

Living with Their Father After Long Custody Battle

After Lisa Marie’s death, the court transferred the custody of the twins to their father. The court ruled that Lockwood was the more suitable guardian as he was deemed “ready, able, and willing to protect their interests.” This decision raised internal concerns among insiders, speculating whether this aligned with their late mother’s wishes.

According to their father’s lawyer, Lockwood had a legal obligation and a moral commitment to safeguard the twins’ interests, emphasizing his positive and familial relationship with all parties involved.

The twins are now with their father and are attending high school. Priscilla posted a photo of them in June and wrote, “Happy Graduation girls! You’re now in high school!”

The Twins Are 15 and Close to Riley

The twins recently celebrated their 15th birthday, a milestone for them and their family. On October 8, a day after their birthday, Lockwood posted a picture with gifts and birthday decorations and wrote, “#fifteenyears it goes by in a blink of an eye 👁️ Mega amounts of love abound. 🙏🏼 Many Thanks to everyone who sent.”
