The mystery surrounding Kate Middleton and her health status remained for months. Since her abdominal surgery in January, only minor updates have been made by Kensington Palace, and only Prince William has told some minor details to the public while out on royal duty. Neither King Charles nor Queen Camilla said anything – but last Friday, Kate confirmed that she had received a cancer diagnosis.

The exact details surrounding Kate’s cancer aren’t known, and the palace has said she wants them to remain private. Meanwhile, during Easter, the family spent plenty of time together, as they stayed at Anmer Hall at Sandringham for several weeks.

Kate Middleton received plenty of scrutiny following her Mother’s Day picture, which turned out to have been manipulated. Luckily, one family member has had experience dealing with negative comments from both the media and the public: Queen Camilla. She and Kate Middleton have an extraordinary bond—and earlier this week, the queen finally broke the silence on Kate Middleton for the first time following the cancer diagnosis announcement.

Kate Middleton has cancer. The Princess of Wales decided to share the news a week before Easter through their social media channels, and the world was shocked.

While it, of course, is a severe diagnosis, Kate, when sitting at a bench in the garden at Windsor, reassured fans – just like she did with her children – that she is “going to be ok.”

Kate Middleton’s complete statement read;

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery.

It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.

In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team, therefore, advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.

This, of course, came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.

As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.

“We now need some time, space, and privacy”

As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body, and spirits.

Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance, too. As is the love, support, and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.

We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space, and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.

At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.

As Kate Middleton revealed, the news became a “huge shock” to her family. Meanwhile, one can only imagine how Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis took the news. The young children – ten-year-old George, eight-year-old Charlotte, and five-year-old Louis – are Prince William and Kate Middleton’s biggest priority and will always be.

As the Princess of Wales is now facing chemotherapy, they want to protect their children as much as they can, and therefore, the fact that the cancer announcement video was released at 6 pm GMT was not a coincidence.

Exactly when George, Charlotte, and Louis were notified about their mother’s cancer diagnosis is unclear.

How Kate Middleton broke the cancer news to her children

However, according to the Sunday Times, the cancer announcement video was released just a few hours after their children’s school had closed so that they wouldn’t immediately face questions about it from their friends. At that point, they had gotten the news.

“George is ten now and can’t be shielded from any of this now,” a palace source told the Times. “Once it’s at the school gate and in the school playground, he won’t be able to avoid it.”

So, how do you tell your children that you have cancer? One person, King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold, argues that Prince William and Kate Middleton explained it differently to them.

Speaking with The Post, Harrold, who worked for Charles for seven years when he was the Prince of Wales, said that the couple most likely “sugarcoated” her health issues when they broke the news to Prince Louis.

“I’m sure it was a very difficult and very different conversation between children,” Grant Harrold told the NY Post. “For instance, for Louis, I’m sure the conversation was more sugarcoated than it was with George and Charlotte.”

The former butler continued, “The older children can understand more, so I’d imagine it was a little more frank but undoubtedly staying positive, which is so important.”

“That’s why when you now look at the picture of Kate with her three children, it brings a tear to your eye. For any mother to have that conversation is huge and you can imagine Charlotte and George are going to be good supports for her.”

Prince William & Kate Middleton escape city life for countryside home

Moreover, Harrold stated that since Louis is only five, it’s fair to assume that the young prince “probably doesn’t understand too much” about his mother’s cancer diagnosis.

“It’s a tricky one. I’m sure the children will be handling it as any kids would be expected to handle it, but I think their parents are very good at being calm and collected, and I think that will rub off on the children,” he told the NY Post.

As the royal children won’t be back in school until April 17, Prince William and Kate Middleton decided to head to Anmer Hall to spend quality time together. Moreover, as it is very close to Sandringham House, where King Charles has recovered after his cancer treatments, it is not a big surprise that the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have seen the king and Queen Camilla recently.

Queen Camilla has taken on a massive responsibility following King Charles’ cancer treatment, growing into a vital part of the royal family.

It has taken her many years to be accepted by the public, and these days, she is being praised for the way she has handled the very challenging situation with Charles’ cancer and all that comes with it.

Some weeks ago, royal expert Angela Levin claimed that Queen Camilla is “holding the royal family up.”

Queen Camilla praised for taking on crucial role

“I mean, to wait till you’re 73 is a long time before you can take the crown. I think obviously, at his age, it’s very difficult, but he’s very determined, and he’s only really just started to be king,” Levin said while appearing on GB News. “Supporting him very much, absolutely by his side, is Queen Camilla, who is going to all the engagements that they would have gone to together on her own.”

“And so that way he will feel it’s still moving, it’s still running, and they can discuss it and talk about it. And I think that’s marvelous. I mean, she is holding the Royal Family up and being strong. If you imagine 30 years ago, people were saying the whole Royal Family would absolutely disintegrate, and she would be of no use.”

Levin added that Camilla has revealed she doesn’t like the spotlight. However, she’s become very “accessible” and makes people laugh when meeting members of the public.

“To support her husband. She understands him very well because they’ve been together for over 50 years, before they even got married. it’s a long time and they make each other laugh,” Angela Levin added while appearing on GB News.

Kate MIddleton received massive criticism after she posted her Mother’s Day photo on social media, which turned out to have been manipulated. News agencies pulled the picture from their website, and conspiracy theories surrounding Kate grew.

The cancer diagnosis announcement video, of course, showed that there was a reason behind her silence. However, arguments have been raised that the fact that she put out a manipulated picture of herself and her children was bad enough.

As Kate Middleton became the subject of much scrutiny after the Mother’s Day picture, Camilla became a crucial support source for the Princess of Wales.

Queen Camilla’s ‘important’ support for Kate Middleton

In an interview with Today, The Telegraph’s associate editor, Camilla Tominey, claimed that the queen “has been trying to help [Catherine] through the media storm aspect in all of this.”

Tominey said, “I think before [Catherine] made the announcement because she was having to cope with the fallout of everything that was said about the Mother’s Day photo and everything else, I think Camilla lent some support.”

“Because let’s be honest, [Camilla] knows what it’s like to have a difficult press. She knows what it’s like to shepherd children through a media storm,” she added.

In February, Prince William made some shorter comments about his wife’s health status. Still, the royal family members have kept very quiet about both Kate and King Charles when getting questions about them in public. However, just days ago, Queen Camilla finally spoke about Kate.

As King Charles canceled several royal duties due to his cancer treatments, Camilla stepped up and took someone herself.

Last week, just before Easter, the queen visited Shrewsbury, where she met many royal fans at a farmer’s market.

Queen Camilla breaks silence on Kate Middleton

There, Camilla, for the first time, spoke about Kate after the cancer diagnosis announcement – when two young girls gave the queen a sign.

It read, “Send our love to Kate,” and was decorated with both hearts and stars, as well as other cute drawings.

Queen Camilla, of course, stayed when she saw the sign.

According to royal expert Rebecca English, she told the young girls, “I know that Catherine is thrilled by all the kind wishes and support.”

Aside from the iHeart event, the couple also attended the Equal Justice Now Awards at Los Angeles Airport Marriott in matching suits, mingling with other notable guests and continuing to share joyous moments. This series of events is just the latest in their public outings this year.

In February, the lovebirds made a joint appearance at Warner Music Group’s event at Citizen News Hollywood, following the group’s pre-Grammy party. Cher effortlessly paired her faded black jeans, adorned with rhinestones, with a chic velvet bolero jacket while Edwards mirrored her style in a sleek black overcoat.

Cher’s night out with her boyfriend came after she lost her bid to become her son Elijah Blue Allman’s conservator. The judge overseeing their case ruled against an immediate conservatorship.

Despite personal challenges, Cher’s romantic life with Alexander remains a source of happiness and support. Cher said“If you have happiness, you can’t think about how long it’s going to last. You have to think about ‘How does it feel?’ and live in the moment.”

As reported in January 2024, Cher has spent much of her life pushing the boundaries of what society considers acceptable. Cher has often done things her way, from outfits to songs and opinions. This behavior also extended to her relationships.

Cher posted a photo on X of her straddling Alexander as she tipped his chin up so he could look at her. She captioned the post, “Love is Love.” However, some fans didn’t see it that way.

Her most recent relationship with rapper Alexander Edwards has sent tongues wagging because of the significant age gap. Cher’s most recent post with Alexander has confused fans even further.

One fan was confused as they thought Alexander was Kyle Kuzma, a basketball player. Another fan thought Cher was country singer Dolly Parton. Other fans began asking questions, like why Alexander didn’t post Cher on his social media.

Another fan was concerned that Cher appeared to cry and said she should be happy she was in love. The same fan wondered if they might be tears of joy that Cher was crying.

Many fans supported Cher and her relationship, with one saying Cher should be happy and that love had no color, size, or shape. Another felt that everyone deserved to enjoy love. One more fan remarked that both Alexander and Cher looked great. One fan was confused as they thought they remembered Cher saying she and Alexander had broken up.

However, there was no confirmation on whether or not the couple broke up. Yet Cher was skeptical about their relationship at first, telling Alexander that they would never work out. Regarding their relationship in December 2022, Cher called it “kind of ridiculous” on paper but said they got along well and were happy.

Before Alexander entered her life, Cher had experienced several high-profile relationships. Alongside her marriages to Gregg Allman and Sonny Bono, Cher also had a connection with actor Tom Cruise in the mid-1980s.

Cher and Tom, who was a young actor at the time, first met at Madonna’s wedding in 1985. In later years, Cher fondly recalled Tom as one of her “top-five” lovers, describing him as a wonderful but shy young man who didn’t have much money.

For the vast majority of us, trips to the airport can be at best a tedious experience. So often they’re crowded places, full of people hurrying to one place or another, or else sitting for long stretches with very little to do except cast the occasional glance at the departure board.

Author and public speaker Kevin Armentrout might have expected such frustrations while at the airport recently with his 16-month-old daughter. His experience, however, proved to be one so memorable that he had to share it with the world.

The long and short of Armentrout’s story surrounds his toddler Carter Jean and an unlikely acquaintance she made by the name of Joseph Wright …

Joseph Wright is a sales manager from Oklahoma, but it turns out he has a heart of gold to boot.

He struck up a friendship with 16-month-old Carter Jean Armentrout that left her father Kevin overloaded with emotion.

“Last night, while waiting to board our plane, [Carter Jean] was being her usual inquisitive self wanting to meet and say ‘hi’ to everyone she could, until she walked up on this man,” he wrote.

“He reached out and asked if she wanted to sit with him. He pulled out his tablet and showed her how to draw with it, they watched cartoons together, and she offered him snacks. This wasn’t a short little exchange, this was 45 minutes. Watching them in that moment, I couldn’t help but think, different genders, different races, different generations, and the best of friends. This is the world I want for her.

“In a country that is continuously fed that it’s so deeply divided by beliefs, I want her life to be filled with moments like this… not liberal or conservative republican or democrat, socialist or capitalist, just HUMAN.”

What’s more, Armentrout admitted in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle that Jospeh had shown an endearing patience with his daughter.

“There were a few moments she screamed and tried to get into his work calendar, but he couldn’t care less,” he said.

Fortunately, Armentrout’s post was able to find its way to Joseph’s friends, who were left unsurprised by the sentiment.

All told, Kevin’s post has garnered 386,000 likes at the time of writing, as well as more than 153,000 shares.

Joseph Wright, we salute you! If only more people took the time out of their days to connect with their fellow human beings!

When a man and a teenage girl boarded a flight from Seattle to San Francisco, Alaska Airline flight attendant Shelia Frederick was suspicious.

The man was smartly dressed while the girl wasn’t and she refused to make eye contact with anyone.

While doing her job aboard the plane, Shelia could not stop wondering about the girl and eventually hatched an ingenious plan that took real courage. Courage that meant this young girl was saved from a dangerous situation.

Shelia couldn’t ignore the girl and desperately tried to make eye contact while she served snacks on board the flight.

She conveyed her suspicions to a colleague and the two worked together to distract the man while Shelia tried to get the girl’s attention.

“She finally looked up and the look in her eye was just heartbreaking, so I excused myself to go to the back and I just broke down,” Shelia said in an interview on Good Morning Britain

She hatched an ingenious plan whereby she put a piece of paper and pencil in one of the plane’s bathroom and then locked it with the aim of unlocking it only for the girl

While her colleague had the man’s attention Shelia mouthed bathroom then mimed writing. She then waited and hoped the girl understood.

Left a piece of paper and pen in the bathroom

Thankfully the girl excused herself to use the bathroom. The man stayed with her outside the bathroom but Shelia refused to leave the area, keeping a close watch on the man.

“I left a note in one of the bathrooms,” Shelia said. “She wrote back on the note and said, ‘I need help.’”

Shelia alerted the pilot who contacted ground control to organize for authorities to stop the man on landing

Hear the full story from the hero flight attendant herself in the clip below.

Shelia kept in touch with the young woman she saved from human trafficking and the two have spoken a few times over the years. The young woman is even attending college, according to the Western Journal.

“If you see something, say something,” Shelia informs others.

A lot of women frequently imagine their wedding day. The wedding gown is a key factor for them to think about.

Most women usually have a clear vision of what they want to wear. Moreover, this bride was absolutely sure about her fashion choices. Many females often fantasize about their wedding day.

Women usually have a clear idea of what they want to wear, and the wedding dress is one of their top priorities.

Allie’s grandmother was filled with emotion as she never expected her dress to be worn at another wedding, especially by her granddaughter.

She had dismissed it, believing it would never be useful again.

For parents-to-be, taking pictures of the expectant mother’s baby bump and documenting the pregnancy is a great way of capturing the joy and excitement of starting a new family.

For the rest of their lives, the couple can flip through their maternity pictures and remember the time just before they welcomed their beloved child into their lives.

And while all pictures of pregnant woman are beautiful in their own way, some are simply more memorable than others…

Dad-to-be, Dan Mozer, 30, suggested that he and his wife go to nearby Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida and take some pictures.

Suddenly, Dan felt inspired and asked his wife, Angelina, to pose for some pictures with the ocean as a background.

He picked up his camera and snapped some pictures.

With a big smile on her face, Angelina stood in front of the ocean waves and showed off her baby bump.

But when Dan saw what was in the background, he immediately realized that he’d taken the picture of a lifetime…

What was it that showed up at the perfect moment behind Angelina?

A dolphin, which leaped out of the water just as Dan was snapping the picture!

Dan knew there were dolphins in the area, so it wasn’t completely unexpected. But he never thought he’d actually catch one jumping in the background of a picture of his pregnant wife.

“When I took it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Unfortunately, she totally missed it,” Dan told AWM.

Dan and Angelina credit their son, Courtland, who was born on January 27th, for the picture. The couple joke that Courtland summoned the dolphin from his mother’s belly.

Dan explained to Yahoo a little more about how the amazing picture came about: “Someone started yelling to us that there were dolphins, and we could see their dorsal fins. Then, out of nowhere, this thing just jumps out of the water.”

Maybe the dolphin knew what was going on?

“The dolphin actually jumped twice, but I liked the first jump picture best,” Dan said.

Although Courtland seems to be dolphin whisperer, Angelina and Dan aren’t going to change his name. Dan confirmed, “No, we’re not changing his name, as some have suggested, to Dolph Finn.”

Sometimes animals come into our lives in the most unexpected ways, and we know it’s meant to be.

Recently, members of a clean-up crew discovered a dog abandoned in the trash… and one of them went above-and-beyond to give him a great new life.

According to a Facebook post from the Missouri Department of Conservation, a crew consisting of Missouri Stream Teams, Beyond Housing and citizens from a Tiered Community were scouting locations for a clean-up on March 19, when they came across something unexpected in the trash.

A tiny puppy had been abandoned in the trash pile, tied up in a black plastic garbage bag. It was heartbreaking that anyone would leave a dog for dead like this, but a miracle he was discovered in time.

One member of the crew was particularly struck by the abandoned pup: Stream Team Coordinator Brian Waldrop.

“I was just down on my knees, picked it up, and fell instantly in love,” Brian recalled to FOX 2 St. Louis.

It was the first time he had come across a dog in a trash pile. While their meeting was unexpected and unusual, Brian knew it was meant to be and agreed to take the puppy home himself for good!

He says he gave the dog a wash when they got home: the dog’s initial yellow coloring faded away to reveal a beautiful white coat.

“He is just… what a great personality, and he is so soft,” Brian said.

Brian told FOX 2 that he hadn’t settled on a name for the dog. While some have suggested garbage-themed names like “Hefty,” he has been calling him “Dude.”

It’s heartbreaking that anyone would abandon a puppy like this, but we’re so glad everything worked out and he has a great, loving new home! Thank you to Brian for taking this pup in!

Linda Hunt hadn’t had the career of a superstar in Hollywood until she got the role of Hetty on ‘NCIS.’ At least, that’s probably what many of the fans of the now-classic crime series thought.

Hunt actually has a lengthy career in show business, despite facing many issues growing up. She was institutionalized because of her stunted physical and mental growth, but that didn’t stop her from pursuing her dreams.

posterposter
In 1983, Linda Hunt received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. But many fans would probably not be able to recognize her from the role at the time, which became a true classic.

Linda Hunt was born on April 2, 1945, in Morristown, New Jersey. She was raised in Connecticut by her parents, Elsie and Raymond Hunt. At an early age, though, when Linda was only six months old, her parents noticed something that gave them cause for worry.

Linda’s motor skills weren’t developing at the usual rate, so her mother and father took her to a hospital in New York to seek help.

What doctors found wasn’t exactly the news Linda’s parents wanted. As The Bulletin reported in 1991, examinations showed she was suffering from a form of cretinism – a condition of severely stunted physical and mental growth – which would likely eventually lead to Linda being institutionalized.

Linda Hunt – early life
Elsie and Raymond, however, were not going to let hope fade. Instead, they were determined to support their beloved Linda and used books and theater to encourage her and help her develop.

By the time Linda started school, her motor skills were pretty much on par with that of an average child her. Sadly, she struggled due to her learning difficulties and short stature.

“I was totally alienated by school almost from the first day, I had a bad experience with a teacher and was made to feel stupid. I felt bad that I didn’t fit in,” Hunt said.

Speaking to The Bulletin, Linda explained that she had always loved acting and theater. Her most significant source of inspiration came when she was eight years of age after her parents brought her to see the Broadway musical Peter Pan.

“I’m lucky that I’ve always known what I wanted to do,” she told the newspaper. “[Mary Martin, who played Peter] was astonishing in her belief in the world she was creating, and that was fascinating to me. She had the power to make others believe what was in her mind.”

“It was bigger than life. And that in some sense, I longed to be bigger than life because I wasn’t,” she explained to CBS.

At that point, Linda devoted her life to acting and theater. She explained that she wanted to become a “high priestess of theater.” She got a private acting coach in high school and was sent to an excellent boarding school.Linda’s parents resolved to do whatever they could to see their daughter achieve her dreams.

“I was so lucky my parents were encouraging on every level,” she said.

Linda Hunt was diagnosed with hypopituitary dwarfism

Yet, while Linda’s parents wanted her to pursue a professional acting career, they were also worried that she didn’t have a backup plan. As a result, her father, Raymond, encouraged her to study directing as well – he even tried to push her towards a teaching degree if things didn’t work out.

Luckily, things did. When Linda Hunt finished high school, she was diagnosed with hypopituitary dwarfism. The condition halts the regular amount of growth hormones released into the body. Consequently, Linda is much shorter than the average woman (she stands at 4 feet 9 inches tall).

Of course, Linda wasn’t about to let any diagnosis stop her.

After studying at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and the Theatre School of DePaul University in Chicago, it was time for Hunt to reach for the stars. So she moved to New York City, where her passion for working in the theater only grew.

When she arrived in the “Big Apple,” she didn’t know what to do or where to begin.

“I moved into a shoebox-sized apartment in the city when I was in my early 20s with my father’s help,” Hunt recalled.

“I was very young and very lost, I didn’t even attempt to act professionally. That would have meant getting an agent and going to auditions. I wasn’t capable of doing any of that. It was truly emotionally beyond me.”

In 1975, Linda made her Broadway debut, starring in Ah, Wilderness. That, in turn, led her to land her first on-screen gig. In 1978, she appeared in the film Fame, and just four years later, Hunt made history.

Linda Hunt played a man in ‘The Year of Living Dangerously’
Linda got the role of Billy Kwan in the film The Year of Living Dangerously, starring alongside Mel Gibson. The film became a huge success, and Hunt received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was the first person ever to win an Academy Award for playing a cis-gender character of the opposite sex. And during the Oscars ceremony, many people probably won’t recognize her at all.

Producer Peter Weir had already gotten Mel Gibson and Sigourney Weaver on board during the casting process. However, he had a hard time finding an actor capable of playing the role of photographer Billy Kwan. The charismatic character was to have an essential role in the film, and at first, Australian dancer David Atkins had gotten the part.

Sadly for him, Mel Gibson didn’t like his personality, and Atkins had to leave. They began filming without the character in place – but that was the moment a member of the casting department suggested another actress: Linda Hunt.

“The sets were being built in Manila and time was of the essence,” Weir told The New York Times in 2019. “The casting agent said he had a possible Billy Kwan called L. Hunt. Later it was revealed she was a woman. We were desperate, we gave her a shot and it was brilliant.”At that point, Linda Hunt had already had a great career in the theater. It’s safe to say she was shocked when the phone rang.

“I didn’t quite understand what I was there for; I talked to the casting director about it and he just said, ‘This would be a part that you would play as a man,’” she told The Daily Beast. “I said, ‘Holy shit,’ and laughed.”

Linda Hunt was unrecognizable as Billy Kwan
At first, Linda Hunt wanted Weir to change the script to suit her as a woman. But that was out of the question.

Instead, the producer simply asked Linda if she could play a man.

“I said this would change the entire story and there was a silence,” Weir recalled. “‘Could you play a man?’ I asked her and there was a longer silence. ‘Only if you believe in me,’ she replied.”

Linda Hunt was told to wear a wig, pieces of rubber over her eyes to make her more “oriental,” and a mustache. The rubber part was indeed quite controversial, at least today. Linda looked herself in the mirror – and asked them to take all “this shit off.” The NCIS star wanted to do it her way if she was to do it at all.

“I didn’t try to pass myself off as a man; the movie wasn’t about that,” Hunt told the New Straits Times.

For the film, Linda really wanted the crowd to believe she was a man. Therefore, she decided to dye her hair, cut it short, and shave her eyebrows. According to reports, when she went out for dinner, waiters even called her “sir,” although she wore a dress.

Linda Hunt did a fantastic job as Billy Kwan in The Year of Living Dangerously. Still, to this day, it is the only time the academy has honored a woman for playing a cisgender man.“It seemed crazy, but it totally worked, and that’s why she won, Turner Classic Movies host Dave Karger told the New York Times.

Pete Hammond, a film critic and awards columnist for Deadline, added, “She totally immersed herself in that character. It was impossible to ignore.”

In her Oscars speech, Linda Hunt thanked her parents, who were in the audience.

“He lived though the Academy Awards and died about 18 months later of a stroke,” Hunt said in 2011. “It now means a great deal that he got to be there. My father was so relieved when I won that award. He was like, ‘You know what? I guess she’s right. She’s going to be O.K.’”

Since then, Linda Hunt’s career has gone amazingly well. For the last decade, she’s been a true star on NCIS Los Angeles, having amassed a staggering 281 episodes as Operations Manager Henrietta “Hetty” Lange.

Things have been pretty quiet regarding Linda after she missed season 12 of the show due to COVID-19 concerns. She only made a handful of appearances last season, including one in the finale, and the series’ fans have speculated whether she will come back. Fortunately, news about
“Linda had both her vaccines, she was feeling great, and she came back. And she was so happy to be back. She had been gone for so long and hadn’t really interacted with anyone, so she was just so thrilled to be back on set,” NCIS showrunner R. Scott Gemmill told TV Insider in 2021.

Luckily, in May last year, Gemmill gave fans a new update on the Linda Hunt rumors, hinting that she might return. The catch? She wouldn’t resurface as Hetty until next season.

It’s not the first time Linda has been absent from NCIS Los Angeles. In July 2018, she was in a car crash, which luckily only left her with minor injuries. Still, it resulted in her missing almost the entirety of the 10th season and most of the 11th season.

It’s unclear whether Linda will work on other projects when she’s not filming NCIS Los Angeles. Previously, she’s enjoyed engaging in other acting work, including voice acting for films and video games.

In any case, she certainly doesn’t have to worry about going bankrupt if she takes some months off; her net worth is said to stand at around $12 million. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Hunt earns $80,000 per NCIS Los Angeles episode.

It’s quite natural to stop and look in the rearview mirror as you grow older – and Susan Boyle can certainly look back on a remarkable life.

In 2008, the unemployed charity worker lived alone with her cat, Pebbles, and wanted to see if she could make it in show business. After performing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables in front of Simon Cowell and the rest of Britain’s Got Talent judges, the 47-year-old became a star overnight.

The crazy underdog audition gained her instant recognition across the world. Even today, her journey is inspiring to millions.

“I used to be a kind of spectator looking outward at the world. But now I’m part of that world and, though frightening, I’m going to embrace it,” Boyle said after her breakthrough

Her success continued and after the release of her second studio album, she became the third artist to top the charts in the UK and the US twice in the same year.

Overnight this unassuming and shy then 47-year-old from Scotland became an international superstar and a millionaire.

Even though her career took her around the globe and made her a multi-millionaire, Susan Boyle has always remained honest, down-to-earth, and genuinely caring.

Unlike many other celebrities, she has never flashed her cash; the humble singer still lives in her childhood home in Blackburn, Scotland.

She purchased the modest house in 2010.

”It’s best to be grounded and with your roots. It keeps you grounded and prevents you from saying things maybe you shouldn’t say,” she told OK!.

Susan Boyle was born on April 1, 1961. Her parents – Patrick Boyle, a miner, WWII veteran, and singer, and Bridget, a shorthand typist – were both immigrants from County Donegal, Ireland. Boyle grew up as the youngest of four brothers and six sisters.

The family lived in a council house in West Lothian, Scotland. Still to this day, Susan lives in that house.

She could have done anything, gone anywhere, bought a mansion in Beverly Hills, but instead, she returned to her childhood home, a four-bedroom ex-council house in Blackburn, Scotland, bought it, and turned it into the home of her dreams.

In a tour of her newly decorated abode, which she’s called home for 60 years now, she reveals her stunning new piano room which is the first thing you see when you enter her home.

She joked about her piano room as she said she’d only just started having lessons.

“That’s a giggle for a start because I can’t even do scales,” she joked.

The newly renovated kitchen used to be small and sparse with a table in the center near the oven which she said made it hazardous, but the renovation gives her a lot more space and many updates. It even has a framed photo of Susan meeting Pope Francis.

Her living room is bright and homey and full of pictures of her family. Susan is the youngest child of 7 brothers and sisters so originally her house occupied 9 people. It must feel a lot roomier now.

As yo move through the home, you see her career documented in various framed awards and accolades along with many cute animal ornaments, a testament to her gentle nature and down-to-earth personality

Upstairs Susan shows us what used to be the room she once shared with her two sisters which then became hers after her sisters left home. She recalls the record player that used to sit in the corner and how she was a huge fan of The Osmonds.

Her father died in the 1990s by which time her brothers and sisters had all left home. Susan stayed at home and cared for her elderly mother until her death in 2007 so the household’s precious memories for the superstar.

“Some people seem surprised that I choose to stay in my family home. Why shouldn’t I? I feel Mum is still here and there are so many good memories … I’ve spent most of my life in this house and I won’t move now, because I feel it’s part of my new history,” she said.

Susan has always been open about the fact that she wants to meet the love of her life and find a long-term partner. That person will of course move into her house – because Susan is not leaving

While SuBo is patiently waiting to meet ”Mr Right”, there is something else that has been bothering her for a while. Susan has always wanted to be a mother and have children of her own.

”I’ve never had any of my own, that’s my biggest regret, but I love kids. They’re good fun to be with,” she told The Sun.

As a 60-year-old woman, time is not exactly on her side. But Susan has opened up on perhaps adopting or becoming a foster parent for children who need a safe and loving home.

“I’ve a lovely house, why not share it?” she said.

Susan’s home reminds us all that despite her overnight stardom she’s still an everyday person who chooses to live the quiet life in the only home she’s ever known.

Amid the legal battles with actor Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has found solace in Spain, where she currently resides in Palma de Mallorca with her one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard. Joining her is Hollywood writer, producer, and cinematographer Bianca Butti, who shares Heard’s preference for life outside the United States.

After Depp’s victory in the defamation lawsuit a few months ago, he has been pursuing various ventures worldwide. Meanwhile, Heard has opted for seclusion in Spain, distancing herself from the public eye as she focuses on her daughter and enjoys life away from Depp’s influence.

Financially, Heard faces challenges due to the $8.3 million penalty imposed by the verdict in favor of Depp. Despite appealing to reduce or cancel the amount owed, her initial request was denied by a judge. Heard’s legal team pointed out discrepancies in the jury selection process, aiming to overturn the verdict.

As Heard takes refuge in Spain, she seems to be enjoying the tranquility without any significant engagements. She spends her days in the Mediterranean-bordering country, cherishing moments with her daughter and enjoying the company of her friend, Butti, who has a few directorial credits.

Heard’s recent Hollywood projects include “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and “In the Fire,” which is currently in post-production. Meanwhile, Johnny Depp continues to thrive in the industry with upcoming roles in a new Netflix film, “La Favorite,” as well as the next installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Fantastic Beasts 3.”

Despite their tumultuous past, both Heard and Depp appear to be flourishing individually, with Depp particularly enjoying a successful streak following his legal victory.
