Last year, Jake and Mary Jacobs celebrated their 70th anniversary of a happy marriage, but getting there wasn’t easy.

Mary, a White woman, and Jake, a Black man, resided in the same city in 1940s Britain, although Jake was one of the few black men there.

It would have been easy for Mary to leave, but despite her father’s commands to the contrary, she had fallen in love and would do anything to be with her lover.

“When I told my father I was going to marry Jake he said, ‘If you marry that man you will never set foot in this house again.’”

At the same technical college where Mary was taking typing and shorthand classes and he was undergoing Air Force training, the pair had met when Jake immigrated from Trinidad during the war.

Jake struck up a conversation with Mary, who was then a resident of Lancashire, and she was impressed by his comprehension of Shakespeare.

He and his companion invited Mary and her friend to join them for a picnic, but a woman cycling by saw them and reported Mary to her father because she was horrified to see two English girls conversing with black guys. Mary was not allowed to visit her father again after he was startled.

When Jake returned to Trinidad they wrote to each other and a few years later he returned to the U.K. to get better paid work.

Jake surprised Mary by asking her to marry him; she was 19 years old and accepted but when she told her family they threw her out.

“I left with only one small suitcase to my name. No family came to our registry office wedding in 1948.”

Mary said while her father was ‘horrified’ that she could contemplate marrying a black man she didn’t realize that the rest of society felt the same way.

“The first years of our marriage living in Birmingham were hell — I cried every day, and barely ate. No one would speak to us, we couldn’t find anywhere to live because no one would rent to a black man, and we had no money.”

Even walking down the street together was difficult as people would point at them, Mary explained.

Mary fell pregnant and the couple enjoyed the excitement of knowing they would soon become parents but at 8 months she gave birth to a stillborn child.

“It wasn’t related to the stress I was under but it broke my heart, and we never had any more children,” she said.

Their lives did get easier with Mary working as a teacher and rising to assistant principle of a British school and Jake securing a job with the Post Office. They made new friends but Mary said she felt the need to explain to people that her husband was black before she introduced them to him.

“My father died when I was 30 and although we were reconciled by then, he never did approve of Jake,” she said.

Jake, who is 89 years old, and Mary, who is 84, currently reside in Solihull, a town south of Birmingham. They recently celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Jake claims he has no regrets, but he also claims that black youth today have no understanding how life was for him in 1940s Britain.

“When I arrived in the U.K. I was subjected to abuse every day. Once I was on a bus and a man rubbed his hands on my neck and said: ‘I wanted to see if the dirt would come off.

“And back then you couldn’t work in an office — because a black man in an office with all the white girls wasn’t thought to be safe.”

Despite all the challenges, bias, and abuse, the pair is still deeply in love and has no regrets about being married. They have been happily married for more than 70 years.

These two are a true inspiration, and I wish them a lifetime of pleasure because of the love they have for one another.

A married couple with a 61-year age gap have vowed to start a family – despite the 85-year-old husband being a decade older than his wife’s grandfather.

Miracle Pogue, 24, from Starkville, Mississippi, met husband Charles Pogue, 85, when she was working in a launderette in 2019 and the pair quickly formed a friendship.

Despite the 61-year age gap, the pair are looking into IVF in the hope of starting a family to ensure Charles, who doesn’t have any children, leaves behind a new generation.

Retired real estate agent Charles finally decided to admit his feelings for the nurse a year after they met and he proposed in February 2020.

Miracle says her mother Tamika Phillips, 45, and grandad Joe Brown, 72, were supportive of the relationship from the start after seeing how happy the pensioner made her but her dad Kareem Phillips, 47, was harder to convince.

Miracle said: ‘Charles used to bring in one item of clothing and only wanted me to serve him.

‘One day he waltzed in there and threw a piece of paper down and said “write down your number” like he’s a player. He was my knight in shining armour.

‘We had a good vibe going, he didn’t make me feel weird. It was good conversation, he made me feel comfortable. I knew he was older but I didn’t know his age exactly.

‘When I found out I was in too deep, it was a couple of months in and I already had feelings for him. He was my baby and he wasn’t going anywhere.

‘I found out in conversation when we asked each other our date of birth and he said he was born in 1937.

‘I never even placed his age, we just wanted to see how it went.

‘I don’t care if he’s 100 or 55, I like him for him. I thought he was maybe 60 or 70 because he looks so good. He’s always up and active.

‘My grandad said if I was happy and it’s what I want to do then he’s happy. My dad was like “hell no ma’am, not at all”.

‘It took a lot of time to convince him but I asked him if he wanted to lose his daughter forever.

‘If he didn’t come to my wedding, he would have lost me forever.

‘I told him I needed his support and to walk me down the aisle. Once he got to meet Charles and talk to him, he loved him.’

Charles said: ‘Miracle has got a lot going for her. She’s got her life in order, she’s great.

‘The wedding day was wonderful, it was the best day of my life. There’s no problem with the age difference.

‘People making comments online doesn’t make a difference, we just let them do their thing. We’re very happy together. We’re looking forward to starting a family together.’

Despite the age difference, Miracle says she’s desperate to start a family with Charles and hopes to have two children despite knowing she is likely outlive him.

Miracle said: ‘I want him to have another generation. We’re looking to go to an IVF clinic to talk about our options.

‘We went to an IVF clinic before but we really felt the pre-judgment even though they don’t know me and it was quite overwhelming.

‘Now I’m forgetting it as long as they give me my baby. Maybe Charles’s age will stop us from having children but I have an open mind. It may not work.

‘I worry about Charles. At Thanksgiving he got Covid and I broke down. I prepared myself, but the way he gets up and goes every day, he’s not going anywhere.

‘We prepare for things and he says he might not be here in five years. I tell him he will and he’ll outlive us all.

‘I know realistically I’ll be around longer than him so I try to live and have fun and experience as much as I can with him. We try to live it up.’

‘We were renting a car and the lady said “oh is this your dad” and I said “yes this is my dad, hey papa, daddy”. I’m a goofy person so I won’t get mad.

‘In public I don’t even care, I don’t think of it as being weird I just go about my day. People on the internet make me feel weird.

‘I get backlash from people who don’t know me or love me, they just call it as they see it. I posted my man online and it blew further than I could even imagine.

‘People were saying I’m using Charles, he doesn’t know what’s going on and saying I should be ashamed.

‘Of course, people mention finances but I’m a nurse. I was starting medical school when I met him.

‘I will be well off with or without Charles, it’s a choice to be with him and it makes me feel good that he chooses me.

‘It’s so crazy that people come after me, as he’s the older one. He’s with me of his own free will, he chose me. I’ve learned it’s OK for people to say how they feel, it’s a free country.

Commenters on TikTok debated whether Miracle is the age she claims, with one asking for evidence that she is 24.

One commenter wrote: ’24? No way. I’ve got to see proof and if you’re 24 I’ll never try to guess ages again.’ Another said: ’42 she meant.’

Miracle hit back insisting that she was born in 1998 and claims she may look older because she doesn’t dress ‘all out’.

‘He’s peaceful, he’s so laidback, he doesn’t want to argue. I love to hear his stories.

‘I love to joke with him about technology. I will take a photo of a cheque and deposit it into my bank account. Charles doesn’t even have a bank card.

‘It’s so weird how he operates but I like how he takes it easy.

‘It’s a blessing to have someone you can talk to and confide in. I know our relationship looks weird and people think “what’s going on here?” but I know he got me and I got him.’

In the realm of celebrity culture, age often becomes a curious topic of discussion, especially when certain famous people seem to defy the conventional markers of time. Some celebrities are the same age but do not look like it.

Cher and Sally Field

Cher is often referred to as “The Queen of Comebacks” and “The Queen of Reinventions,” nicknames the 77-year-old has earned. Cher has reinvented herself each decade as a singer and an actress, rising and dusting herself clean each time she was down. The singer has an Academy Award for her role in “Moonstruck.” Cher is also a Grammy and Emmy winner.

The “Believe” star is not a lover of age. When asked, “So you and age, you’re are not friends?”, she answered, “No. My mother didn’t mind. But I do. I hate it.”

Still, the beloved entertainer isn’t done, she is writing a memoir about her life full of ups and downs. “It’s very difficult because I’ve lived too long, and I’ve done too many things. And so it would have to be, like, an encyclopedia, truthfully,” she acknowledged.

Sally Field is 77 just like her fellow actress, Cher. The actress has achieved a lot in a decades-long career. She has bagged two Academy Awards. Her extensive work on screen and stage has also led her to win Golden Globe Awards, Tony Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, and British Academy Film Awards.

Sally Field has also shared her views on aging in Hollywood. She noted, “My profession is very much about what I look like rather than my capacity to do what it is that I’ve worked my whole life to be able to do.”

The actress added that the real questions shouldn’t be about how she is aging or how her skin is adhering to her bones but about how she is putting one foot in front of the other despite her knees hurting and the wear and tear her body has had to endure.

To Sally, the hardest part about aging is figuring out how to stay healthy against all the things that come at her in her older years.

The 78-year-old underwent cosmetic surgery in 2008 and got less than satisfying results. Priscilla Presley became a victim of botched cosmetic surgery at the hands of Dr. Daniel Serrano, who was known for injecting industrial, low-grade silicone into the faces of women.

Daniel, who was sent to prison, wasn’t even a licensed doctor in the US. The injections Daniel gave caused lumps, paralysis, and holes in the faces of some of the women. Priscilla, who did not know was being injected with silicone had to undergo corrective work.

On the other hand, Helen Mirren is a phenomenal actress, who has opened up about ageism in the film industry. The 78-year-old is a recipient of numerous accolades, including the SAG Award, Academy Award, BAFTA Award, and Critics’ Choice Award.

The Oscar-winning actress doesn’t subscribe to ageism in Hollywood. She noted, “Whether you’re 25, 45, or 85, you look great for who you are, not for how old you are.” Helen also wears her hair gray and long, acknowledging that it is an unacceptable thing but she does it to break the rules.

Helen has embraced getting older, saying one of its advantages is getting rid of the ridiculous insecurities she used to hold on to. Now, she tells people to celebrate getting older and not to fight it. “You die young or you get old and I don’t want to die young. I’m too interested in life. It’s wonderful, so celebrate that and enjoy it,” she added.

The actor revealed that when his dad was 95, he aspired “to that sort of longevity.” Gere’s dad, Homer George Gere, died aged 100. “Clearly I am not as physically flexible or strong as I was when I was a kid, but I think I am mentally flexible,” added Gere.

In the dynamic world of celebrity, age proves to be just a number for these remarkable duos. From Cher and Sally to Madonna and Andie, they defy conventional aging norms, inspiring fans to embrace every stage of life with grace and purpose. Their talent also truly knows no age limit.

The famed former host of The Tonight Show experienced a string of tragic occurrences in the latter half of 2022 that left him dealing with the fallout of not one, but two big events, leaving him with a variety of ailments dispersed across his body.

The first event happened the year before when the 73-year-old comedian became involved in a terrible car fire. Jay Leno was devotedly repairing one of his beloved antique cars in the limits of his Los Angeles residence’s garage.

He had no idea that this momentous day would live in his memories forever. He developed severe second and third-degree burns as a result of the terrible turn of events, forcing a nine-day stay at the renowned Grossman Burn Center in West Hills.

But the comedic character’s well-being seemed to be pursued by fate with unrelenting zeal.

Jay Leno was suffering from two cracked ribs and a shattered collarbone after he was involved in an accident while riding his motorcycle.

Despite a series of mishaps, the comedian’s unflappable spirit never wavered; now, he hosts the riveting shows Jay Leno’s Garage and the NBC game show You Bet Your Life.

Leno revealed details about his retirement intentions or lack thereof, and the events that would make him decide to leave public life in an exclusive interview during the Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge premiere.

Firmly rooted in his dedication to the late-night industry, the seasoned host made it clear that he wanted to carry on with his career, refusing to consider retirement unless fate delivered him an unanticipated blow in the shape of a stroke. He stated bluntly, “Then you slow down.”

He made a solid commitment to follow his chosen course until his health forbade it, saying, “That’s when you retire when you have your stroke.” As he admirably recovered from his recent incidents, Jay Leno’s extraordinary fortitude was on display.

After a lengthy hospital stay that included a demonstration of grafting techniques, he didn’t waste any time getting back behind the wheel and even visiting the sites of his unfortunate collisions.

At the exclusive Comedy Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California, where he stunned spectators with his victorious return to the stage, a sold-out crowd greeted him with loud acclaim.

The amiable host acknowledged the occupational risks of working on cars during an interview held a month after the traumatic tragedy as she reflected on the car fire incident.

He remarked, “When you work with cars, you have a lot of accidents,” stressing that the size of this catastrophe exceeded most incidents.

He stated up front, “I knew how close I was to the pilot light, and I thought, ‘Uh oh.’”

He stressed that it felt like his face was on fire and compared the experience to getting the worst possible sunburn. Jay Leno endured two difficult skin grafting procedures while he was in the hospital, which were necessary to encourage the development of healthier, more youthful skin.

In order to improve tissue oxygenation, a crucial step in the healing process, he also participated in sessions in hyperbaric chambers.

Unusually, he made the decision to abstain from painkillers throughout this experience, seeing their use as a painful reminder of his error in judgment and as a way to detach from his situation.

The outpouring of love from his family and well-known friends was evidence of Jay Leno’s significant influence throughout his lengthy career.

His devoted 43-year-old wife, Mavis, recalled heartfelt acts of support from influential people in the field throughout his time in the burn center.

“John Travolta gave me a big Italian basket,” she said, “Tom Selleck sent me an exquisite bouquet, and Russell Crowe took the time to reach out from Australia.”

The couple was extremely moved by these displays of devotion as they were witnesses to the depth of friendship they had developed over the course of their illustrious lives.

While fame and notoriety can be a lot of fun – think endless streams of money, flashy red carpet events, mingling with society’s elite – living in the public eye comes with its share of scrutiny and judgment.

This is something Paris Hilton has experienced firsthand throughout her life in the spotlight.

However, things took a nasty turn recently when cruel internet trolls attacked her baby son’s appearance.

Recently, the reality TV star turned businesswoman found herself defending her 9-month-old son, Phoenix Barron, when negative comments surfaced on her social media regarding his head size.

Paris, who is known for her unwavering confidence, didn’t hesitate to assert herself and protect her firstborn child.

Paris and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed Phoenix into their lives with the assistance of a surrogate earlier this year, marking their first child together (Carter has a daughter named Evie from a previous relationship). As new parents, they have been navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood with love and devotion.

Recently, the young family took a trip to New York, with Paris posting a photo of herself holding her son.

In the comments section, people had some pretty cruel things to say about the size of Phoenix’s head. Hurtful comments like “Man got a lot of thoughts up there” and “I heard this baby was created in a lab. And she didn’t carry it” appeared, with others chiming in with their own negative thoughts.

The internet gives many bullies or unhappy people a place to attack strangers with their words. Certain people tend to be the most common targets, even today.

It seems as though many get some kind of pleasure in hurting others with their words and using technology, and this is no exception.

The difference in this story is that the victim has been able to speak up and confront those who tried to hurt her.

Jennifer Knapp Wilkinson was shopping in her local Walmart as usual one day when she lost her balance. She fell and tried to catch herself on nearby shelving but struggled, especially because she is bound to a scooter.

Jennifer was able to right herself despite the lack of people around her.

Unfortunately, Jennifer was to find out that she was not as alone as she thought. Instead of helping her when she fell or checking to see if she was okay, a stranger decided to take a picture of her fall and share it online.

Users everywhere came to the post to mock her for being obese and for falling. Many reacted with surprising anger, calling a woman they did not even know all sorts of names and descriptors.

They poked at her weight, called her lazy, and blatantly took joy in her misfortune.

Of course, these people knew nothing about Jennifer, who is a full-time mom with health issues and a love of crocheting. They also did not know that Jennifer is not afraid to fight back.

Many people would shrink away from conflict when so many unknown users are piling in on them with hate. Jennifer, however, decided to stand up for herself.

Knowing that this would bring even more attention to the photo cruelly taken without her knowledge, she proceeded.

“The reason I am sharing this is because people think it is funny to laugh at people with disabilities,” she explains in her post.

Jennifer confronted the accusations of her being “lazy” by explaining that her spinal condition, spondylolisthesis, which sometimes causes pain and weakness in the legs.

The longer Jennifer stands, therefore, the more likely she is to fall–something she is used to.

She goes on to explain that on the day in question, she was feeling particularly weak and in pain. Her mental health was similarly poor at the time, but she still went food shopping for her family.

While attempting to pick up a case of soda for her husband, she slipped and fell hard. She thought she heard giggling nearby but thought nothing of it, as she is sadly used to rude people making fun of her in public.

“You can not see my disabilities but they are there and they are real. So next time you see photos making fun of people just remember you know nothing about these people or the struggles they face every day. It is never just harmless fun to laugh at someone.”

Jennifer also condemns the picture itself, saying, “My main point in this answer is I did not choose to be photographed at a low point in my life.”

She continues confronting the accusations of laziness and assumptions of “choosing” to be overweight or physically impaired.

Perhaps most importantly, she reminds everyone: “Obese people are treated as less than human and as something to ridicule. I just want people to be aware that fat people are people too.”

She finishes by explaining that she is not seeking any kind of apologies or pity, but simply trying to encourage understanding and compassion.

“I am a person, please treat me like one!”

“Pretty Woman,” the timeless romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, has captured the hearts of audiences around the world since its release in 1990. While the film is celebrated for its enchanting storyline and unforgettable characters, behind the scenes, there’s a treasure trove of delightful bloopers waiting to be discovered.

In a rare glimpse into the making of the movie, fans have been treated to a collection of bloopers that showcase the camaraderie and laughter shared by the cast and crew. From tongue-tied lines to unexpected mishaps, these outtakes provide a light-hearted and entertaining peek into the filming process.

One particularly memorable blooper reveals Julia Roberts struggling to keep a straight face during a pivotal scene. As she attempts to deliver her lines with her signature charm, a case of the giggles overtakes her, resulting in a cascade of laughter from both Roberts and her co-star Richard Gere.

The renowned actress Sally Field has won significant praise for her outstanding television portrayals of matriarchal characters. Her road to success, however, was littered with unpleasant surprises that changed both her career and her personal life. One of her earliest career milestones was her debut in the comedic TV show “Gidget” from 1965 to 1966 as a young actress.

Despite the show’s short lifespan, Sally relished the thrill of filming it, and it gave her access to a wide range of options, catapulting her to fame in Hollywood. Her achievement was greatly influenced by her drive and perseverance. Sally had a difficult childhood in part because of her stepfather, but she found solace and an escape by trying out for a Columbia Pictures acting school.

After making a name for herself, Sally starred as Sister Bertrille in the sitcom “The Flying Nun” from 1967 to 1970. She developed her acting abilities at Actors Studios from 1973 to 1975, becoming a dramatic actor.

Her big break in Hollywood came with the 1976 film “Sybil,” which caught the attention of the business and led to her getting regular appearances. She made one of her most notable appearances in the drama film “Norma Rae” in 1979, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award, playing a union organizer.Sally Field started her acting career while she was a student at Van Nuys’ Birmingham High School. Because of her involvement in the theater group, her passion in acting has grown, and she plans to pursue it professionally after she graduates.

It’s been two years since we lost legendary actress and singer Doris Day who passed away at the age of 97 after becoming one of the biggest stars during the Golden Age of Hollywood.

As well as appearing in almost 30 movies, she released more than 650 songs between 1947 and 1967 and received many awards for her dedication to music and movies including the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

But why? Let’s find out.

There are so many reasons to love Doris Day: he talent, her love for animals, and her humility.

In her 50-year career, Doris was well-loved and highly regarded for her film work. She made her name after starring in such movies as Pillow Talk, Love Me or Leave Me, and The Man Who Knew Too Much.

The 97-year-old married four times but only had one child. Terry Mulcher, Day’s son via first husband Al Jorden, died in 2004 of melanoma.

As well as achieving fame on the silver screen, Day was also a prominent animal rights activist. She was a very compassionate person who fought for animals without a voice.

Doris was also a Grammy-winning singer.

Her songs Sentimental Journey, Secret Love, and Que Sera Sera were all inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, while her work with animals culminated in the formation of the Doris Day Animal Foundation.

In 2019, Doris Day sadly passed away at her home in Carmel Valley, California. She died after contracting pneumonia and her death was announced by her charity, the Doris Day Animal Foundation which added that as per the star’s request there would be no funeral services, grave marker, or other public memorials.

Instead, she was cremated and had her ashes scattered.

According to her close friend and manager Bob Bashara, she didn’t want to discuss the prospect of a funeral because she struggled with death.

And there was a genuine reason for her final wishes.

“She didn’t like death, and she couldn’t be with her animals if they had to be put down. She had difficulty accepting death,” he said in a 2019 interview with People.

“I’d say we need to provide for her dogs [after she died], and she’d say, ‘I don’t want to think about it’ and she said, ‘Well, you just take care of them,’” recalls Bashara.

“She had several when her will was written, and she wanted to be sure they were taken care of. She didn’t like to talk about the dogs dying.”

From the early 70s Day was an avid campaigner for animal rights denouncing the wearing of fur and setting up the Doris Day Animal Foundation.

In 2020 she auctioned more than 1,000 of her possessions raising $3 million for the cause and even helped to set up a Horse Rescue and Adoption Center, which helps abused and neglected horses, in Texas.

Day was brought up Catholic and was a practicing Christian Scientist after marrying producer Martin Melcher.

Her only child Terrence “Terry” Paul Jorden was born during her first marriage to trombonist Al Jorden who she met when she was 16. Jorden later changed his name to Terrence Paul Melcher when he was adopted by Day’s third husband film producer Martin Melcher.

Day “drifted away” from organized religion after Melcher died in 1968, Bashara told People, but remained “a spiritual person.”

“She believed in God, and she thought her voice was God-given,” he says. “She would say, ‘God gave me a voice, and I just used it.’”

Day retired from acting in the early 70s but did return for two TV shows. Then in 1985 she hosted her own television talk show “Doris Day’s Best Friends”, on the Christian Broadcasting Network which ran for a year.

Her friend and manager Bashara says he remains unsure as to why Day was reluctant to have a funeral, but explains, “I think it was because she was a very shy person.”

He said Day knew her fans loved her from the letters she received but never understood why so many people loved her.

“She never let her celebrity affect her and who she was, and she was always the little girl from Cincinnati who was extraordinarily talented and went out in the world and did what she loved to do despite herself,” he says.

She was cremated and had her ashes scattered.

We all have to come to terms with death in our own way and everyone’s wishes must be respected.

In the late 1970s, Loni Anderson was a familiar face on American television. She portrayed receptionist Jennifer Marlowe on the CBS comedy WKRP in Cincinnati.

Loni Anderson rose to fame playing the seductive, curvy Jennifer on CBS’ WKRP in Cincinnati.

Loni Anderson won three Grammys for the program, which aired from 1978 to 1982 and followed the ups and downs of the crew of a struggling fictional radio station in Ohio.

“I think women loved the fact I was sexy and smart,” she said. “I know it sounds crazy to people today but in 1978, when we came on, not many women were doing both in comedy.”

The upper middle class actress from Minnesota was born there and showed an early interest in acting. But that wasn’t the only early development she experienced.

”I was the first girl in school to wear a bra. And it was a pain. At first it was very exciting, everything was wonderful. And then I realized I was the only one having to go through all that. Then I was embarrassed,” Loni told Tampa Bay Timers in 1980 and added:

”A lot was made of my figure. I put up with a lot of stuff”.

Loni, a brunette back in the day, made her acting debut in the 1966 film Nevada Smith with Steve McQueen.

She continued to appear on television ever since, including in S.W.A.T., Phyllis, Police Woman, and Harry O. Loni Anderson was a poster girl in addition to being a working actress. The best-seller was an image of Loni in a bikini.

”I remember we all did posters back then. Everybody always asks me, “What made you do a poster?” I would say, “Because someday my grandchildren will look at this. And I’ll be able to tell them that I really looked like that. What you saw is what you got *laughs*,” Loni explained in 2021.

She was given the part of Jennifer in WKRP largely because of her posters. Hugh Wilson, the show’s producer, noticed a poster of Loni in a red bathing suit and made the decision to hire her, which propelled her to prominence.

“She was the oracle of the place,” Wilson said. “I never had to rewrite a line for her. She had such a definite look.”

Anderson has two children and has been married four times. Actor Burt Reynolds, to whom she was married for six years between 1988 and 1994, is arguably her most well-known partner.
The couple, who appeared to be Hollywood’s ideal match, decided to adopt a young boy named Quinton to complete their family.

But as many people are aware, Loni and Burt’s relationship came to a terrible end. Sadly, their divorce was well reported and turned nasty. It was difficult to watch Loni’s divorce from Burt Reynolds on the entertainment news.

”I should have known that you don’t marry an actress,” Burt Reynolds told People. ”It wasn’t lollipops and roses.”

Burt also gave away many details about their private life and told reporters that the couple never had sex anymore. According to Burt, it couldn’t have been a shock for Loni that their union didn’t work out.

“I don’t see how she can be in total shock when you have not … if your husband has not touched you in the biblical sense … in almost three years,” he said in Good Morning America: Evening Edition and added:

“How can you be surprised?”

There were also allegations of infidelity and a bitter custody battle over their adopted son. Loni, however, only a short comment.

”I do not intend to engage in a media war. I have to consider the welfare and best interests of my little boy.”

She kept quiet until 1995, but then she opened up and accused Reynolds of physically abusing her. She also said that Reynolds often missed out on paying his $15,000 in child support on time.

There was a lot of anger between Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson after their rocky marriage. But when Burt died in 2018, Loni was one of many who paid her respects.

”Quinton and I are extremely touched by the tremendous outpouring of love and support from friends and family throughout the world. Burt was a wonderful director and actor. He was a big part of my life for twelve years and Quinton’s father for thirty years. We will miss him and his great laugh,” she told Fox News.

Loni Anderson, who was compared to stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield, is now 77 years old but is still as beautiful as ever.

She credits her youthful appearance to a healthy lifestyle and plans to change the perception of how the world views grandmas and what they look like.

She added: “I was never really interested in playing traditional, sensible-shoe-wearing, rocking-chair grandmas.

“I’m not saying traditional is boring, but I’m a grandma and the women around me are, too,” she says. “We’re different from that stereotype, so it’s time to change the face of what grandmas look like!”

Anderson said she exercises regularly and has been since she was in her late 30s, including cardio, weight training and walking into her daily routine.

She eats a healthy diet of mainly fruits and vegetables, also focusing on the health of her mind by remaining grateful for each day. “Then I make the best of it as the day flies by,” she said.

Anderson remains radiant by surrounding herself with the right people marrying her fourth husband and soul mate musician Bob Flick in 2008.

“I married the man I should have married in 1963 but then I wouldn’t have had all the wonderful people in my life,” Anderson mentioned.

“It’s so bizarre how we came together but it was destiny and we have wonderful grandchildren.”

In 2009, Loni’s daughter, Deidra Hoffman, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Loni broke down when she heard the news about Deidra, who she had with her first husband, Bruce Hasselberg.

“I fell apart,” Loni remarked in 2017.

“I mean, I didn’t want to fall apart in front of her because I knew she was struggling to just maintain herself, but it was very difficult to come to grips with,” she said.

Loni Anderson radiates happiness thanks to her positive outlook on life and surrounding herself with people who make her happy.

We could all learn a thing or two from this blonde bombshell’s perspective on life.
