In an unforgettable collaboration, celebrated vocalists Josh Groban and Kelly Clarkson teamed up for a spectacular Broadway duet, captivating the audience during Groban’s Stages Live event. This special performance, which aired on PBS, featured a selection of beloved musical theater pieces, including the iconic “All I Ask of You” from The Phantom of the Opera, performed as a duet by Groban and Clarkson.

Groban’s Broadway Dream Realized in ‘Stages’

A lifelong admirer of Broadway, Groban realized his dream through his album ‘Stages.’ This album is a compilation of Groban’s favorite musical theater songs, ones he had aspired to perform since his high school days. He expressed, “Theater and musical theater have always been in my heart. These are songs I’ve wanted to sing since I was in high school.” Among the tracks on ‘Stages’ is “All I Ask of You,” for which he needed a special partner to play Christine. Groban selected Kelly Clarkson for this role, resulting in a remarkable duet.
