The video asks: “What’s the first thing you see in this picture?
“If you first saw the mermaid then you are a super generous and forgiving person.
“You’re always willing to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on when others are in need.
“You often repress your true personality to make others happy, which leaves you feeling very tired and drained.
“Sometimes it seems like there is no one you can really trust.”
However, social media user @mia_yilin also claimed it is possible to see Neptune, the Roman god of the seas first in the optical illusion.
She explained: “You are someone who gets very easily annoyed by the actions of others.
“You like having things your way and feel comforted by order and consistency, which is why you cannot stand the poor habits of other people, whether it be someone eating with their mouth open, leaving things messy, or talking too loudly, it’s enough for you to dislike them.”
Her video has racked up over 5,000 likes and people were quick to comment on what they saw first.
One said: “omg you are super accurate I saw the roman God of the sea.”
Another added: “finally am the 1st person.”
However, one person commented: “i see both the 2 are my personality.”
