Kate Middleton will resume working once she has recovered, however, her duties in the royal family may be significantly altered compared to before her battle with cancer.
A source informed Us Weekly in their latest issue that Princess Kate is currently reassessing what responsibilities she will be able to handle upon her return. There is a possibility that she will never return to the same role that she was previously seen in.
According to a royal aide, the Princess of Wales will resume her work once given approval by doctors.

Today is a day where the temperature is elevated.
It will be some time before Kate comes back to work. Last week, it was confirmed that she will not be at this year’s Trooping the Colour on 8 June in her capacity as Colonel of the Irish Guards, but there are reports that she may make a brief appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony on the day.
In the meantime, as per a recent implication to the Daily Beast, Kate might not resume her official duties until as far as 2025. The source mentioned that Kate does not have any entries in her diary for this year. There are no plans made. It is possible that she will not be seen in public for the remainder of the year.
Shortly after revealing her cancer diagnosis, a source informed People that when Kate fully recovers, she is expected to return with even more passion.
While she is recuperating, Kate is said to be keeping up with her most important work assignments, like being updated on a recent report from the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. Kate’s emphasis on early childhood is a key aspect of her duties as a royal.
