The stunning movie star showcased her bump in the high-neck black gown, while cradling her growing baby bump.
The beauty’s confirmation of her pregnancy on Hollywood’s biggest night comes just days after she recalled feeling ‘fat’ after ‘rude’ pregnancy speculation during her bachelorette party in 2023.
The High School Musical star, 35, discussed how the comments detracted from what was supposed to be ‘the happiest’ time in her life, on the latest episode of the She Pivots podcast.
At the time the actress was enjoying a getaway with friends in Aspen, ahead of her wedding to now-husband Cole, 27, but comments on the video she shared from the festivities primarily focused on whether she was pregnant.
‘I feel like I literally just had a run-in with the public taking control over their opinion of me in a way that was disrespectful,’ Austin Butler’s ex said.
‘I went out on my bachelorette and I posted video of me and there are all these comments that are like, “Oh my god. You’re pregnant.” And I’m like, that is so rude. I’m sorry, I don’t wear Spanx every day and I’m a real woman and have a real body.’
She added, ‘I’m literally celebrating one of the happiest times of my life, and you guys are just gonna make me feel fat. That’s great. Thanks.’
She tied the knot with MLB player this past December, following three years of dating; Vanessa and Cole are seen in Santa Monica back in February 2022
Hudgens went on to discuss ‘the four agreements’ women should stick by.
‘One of them is don’t make assumptions… in all aspects of life, but especially over other women’s bodies,’ she stated.
‘We deal with so much with other people trying to control our bodies, not let’s not make assumptions over other women’s bodies as well.’
In the original video from her bachelorette, Vanessa wore plenty of baggy clothing, with many of her followers quick to ask if she was pregnant in the comments section.
However Vanessa did not take too kindly to the speculation as she replied: ‘[eyeroll emoji] not pregnant so y’all can stop.’
There were plenty of commenters who jumped to the conclusion that she was expecting with the baseball player, as one wrote ‘omg she’s preggers’ and another said ‘she’s pregnant indeed.’
Others came to Vanessa’s defense as one said: ‘For those commenting about pregnancy is rude. We’re human! She’s happy so please don’t comment about her body if u don’t want anyone asking u.’
