Prince William and Kate Middleton’s start to 2024 has not been great. The Princess of Wales underwent surgery in mid-January, and not long after, King Charles began his cancer treatment after doctors found it during his enlarged prostate treatment.

While William took on a lot of responsibility for their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, he simultaneously juggled his royal duties. However, as the date when Kate could be back on royal duty approaches, one of the most significant setbacks of their joint royal life has arrived.

With the recent picture mishap, where Kate had edited the Mother’s Day photo of herself and her children, news agencies dropped the picture because it appeared to have been manipulated. Still, to this day, royal fans haven’t gotten any information about how she is actually doing besides some minor updates, and the fact that she isn’t showing herself in public—or even posting a new picture—has many worried.

While King Charles hoped that William and Harry’s feud would end, making the rest of his life a little easier, a royal expert now claims that the Prince and Princess of Wales have put him in an even worse situation.

After Christmas, about nine months after King Charles officially was crowned king at his May coronation in Westminister Abbey, it appeared that the royal family was on its way to move into a new era. King Charles and Queen Camilla – who have not only been accepted by the public but also very much liked – have taken the reign after the late Queen Elizabeth. At the same time, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s popularity has continued to grow.

Kate Middleton – mystery about her health status

Meanwhile, their children are growing fast, and the royal line of succession is secured for a long time. Also, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attacks on the royal family ended, and as everyone screamed “Happy New Year” a few months ago, everything seemed OK.

But at this point, we know things changed quickly. In mid-January, royal fans worldwide were left in shock as Kate Middleton underwent what Kensington Palace stated was a “planned abdominal surgery” and was to be out from royal duty until after Easter. At the same time, the Princess of Wales decided not to disclose any details about her medical condition, which she is entitled to but wasn’t quite as appreciated by royal fans and experts.

Further, King Charles went through enlarged prostate treatment – and doctors found that he had cancer. Luckily, it was announced that it was found in an early stage, and the monarch will hopefully be back to full speed in a while.

As Easter approaches, many believed the world would soon see Kate Middleton back on royal duty. However, only a few minor updates have been made to Kate’s health since she underwent abdominal surgery.

The American tabloid TMZ published the first picture taken of Kate before Christmas some weeks ago, but Kensington Palace stayed quiet. But on Mother’s Day, March 10, it finally arrived.

On Prince William and Kate Middleton’s official Instagram account, a picture of Kate and Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Louis was published as Kate wished everyone a happy Mother’s Day. Fans were overjoyed to see Kate doing well – but only hours later, everything changed.

Kate Middleton – manipulated photo

Social media users began investigating the picture, and it was soon apparent that it had significant issues. The editing could have been better done, and it was evident that something needed to be fixed. Some parts appeared to have been manipulated, including Princess Charlotte’s jumper and Kate Middleton’s right hand, which also missed a wedding ring.

News agencies, including the Associated Press and Getty, issued a “kill notice,” an advisory notice to remove or not use a specific photo.

“It appears that the source has manipulated the image,” the Associated Press notification read.

AP also released a statement, saying, “The Associated Press initially published the photo, which was issued by Kensington Palace. The AP later retracted the image because at closer inspection, it appears that the source had manipulated the image in a way that did not meet AP’s photo standards. The photo shows an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.”

Kate Middleton now finds herself in the middle of a massive storm. Conspiracy theories had already begun spreading in February about her health, where she was, and why Kensington Palace stayed quiet. The picture could’ve shut down it all, but now, things are getting ugly.

There are more conspiracy theories about what is going on than ever, and Kate Middleton is being accused of not telling the truth. It’s important to remember that we don’t exactly know what is going on or how much Kate Middleton really has to do with it.

Kate Middleton issued apology – royal expert says palace is to blame

However, we do know that the Princess of Wales decided to apologize for the picture, saying that she edited it and posted it to her and her husband’s official accounts.

“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C,” Kate Middleton wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Fans and experts have different opinions about whether Kate is to blame for this royal mess. Previously, many have called for the palace to release new pictures of her to end all speculations. Meanwhile, as the picture mishap has grown into an international news story, no picture has yet been released, and even more wonder—and worry—what is going on with Kate.

Several royal experts have argued that Kate needs to take responsibility for her actions. At the same time, royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox that the palace is responsible for what she calls “yet another public relations disaster.”

“The certainty is that a ‘slimmed down monarchy’ means fewer are guiding the royals and those who are aren’t as media savvy as they need to be,” Fordwich said. “In our fast-paced world with tech-savvy media outlets, the palaces need to hire the best and brightest in such fields.”

Although Kate had to apologize, the royal expert pointed out that Kate Middleton showed “integrity” by doing so.

“While this certainly isn’t ‘business as usual’ nor what we would expect from a royal household… it shows great humility to admit one’s mistakes,” Fordwich continued. “Others might have either remained silent or tried to blame another. Kate issued a straight-up, no-nonsense apology. Many could learn a lesson from such.”

“It was pretty much an amateur job “

Royal expert Rob Jobson, author of Our King: Charles III – The Man and the Monarch Revealed, agreed with Hilary Fordwich, saying it wasn’t Kate Middleton’s fault that things came to this.

“We can’t really blame Kate,” he told The Sun.

“Now it hasn’t passed that muster, if you like, and that’s because it was pretty much an amateur job on doing so. So, really, there needed to be some advisers around doing that job, making sure that in this modern world of modern communications that, you cannot tamper with photographs that are being issued as official photographs.”

“It damages the integrity of the organization that is issuing a photograph,” Jobson added, saying that Kate had done the palace a “favor” by accepting the responsibility. However, the manipulated picture has “added fuel to the fire.”

King Charles is laying low and has not commented on Kate’s surgery, her recovery, or the newly manipulated picture. The monarch, who was crowned in May last year, is undergoing cancer treatment and has decided to rest at Sandringham in between his doctor’s appointments.

Over the years, King Charles has had to be at the center of several feuds, not only between him and Harry and Meghan but also between his two sons. Meanwhile, Harry lashed out at his father – and brother – in his Spare book.

King Charles & the many royal family feuds

One of the stories in his book took place in 2019 at his London home, where Harry wrote that he and William had a physical confrontation. The Duke claimed William had called his wife, Meghan, “abrasive,” “rude,” and “difficult,” something Harry called “parrot the press narrative.”

It escalated, and Harry described how William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor.”

“He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out,” Harry wrote.

The Duke then described how William urged him to hit back, describing their fights as children. When Harry refused, the future king left before returning later “looking regretful, and apologized.” Harry said he sustained visible injuries on his back.

The royal family has not commented on the shocking claim – along with everything else Harry and Meghan have said. It’s safe to say it will most likely stay that way.

At the time, King Charles wasn’t there. However, a few years later, following Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021, Harry, William, and Charles had a meeting at Frogmore Cottage that didn’t end well.

In Spare, Harry wrote that his family members had “come for a fight” as they tried to reconcile with him. The Duke said the least they wanted was to understand why they had left the royal family in the first place.

“I tried to explain my side of things. I wasn’t at my best. For starters. I was still nervous, fighting to keep my emotions in check, while also striving to be succinct and precise,” Harry wrote. “More, I’d vowed not to let this encounter devolve into another argument. But I quickly discovered that it wasn’t up to me.”

But, as previously mentioned, it didn’t end well. Before the main subject was to be discussed – when King Charles asked about the weather and the funeral – Harry felt he was cut off whenever he wanted to speak. Eventually, the two brothers got “heated,” and their father had to step in.

Harry recalled Charles “looking up at our flushed faces,” saying, “please, boys, don’t make my final years a misery.”

Now, not even a year after officially becoming king, Charles finds himself in another kind of ‘misery’ as both he and Kate have been ill. Meanwhile, the manipulated picture is turning into a scandal, and the fact that royal fans aren’t being given any information about what is happening isn’t making things easier.

King Charles finds himself in a very tough spot, especially since his first son – the future king – and the coming queen have become the main characters, most likely seeking guidance from the monarch.

Royal expert claims Prince William and Kate Middleton has made a “Chernobyl-sized mess”

We don’t—and probably never will—know what goes on behind the scenes. Meanwhile, royal expert Daniela Elser states that Kate Middleton and Prince William have made this situation a massive problem for themselves and dragged King Charles into their issues.

“Here (the Mother’s Day picture) was a jolly god-given opportunity to tamp down the mania that has engulfed social media; here was a chance to prove that the Princess of Wales is alive and well-enough to work her trusty curling tongs,” Elser wrote for News.com.au.

“This should have finally set things to rights, a return to cool-headedness, normalcy, sanity. Oh no. In the place of a nice return to regular viewing, those major news agencies put out that ‘kill notice’ and things went nuclear.”

Elser continued, “For Charles this is something of a Chernobyl-sized mess (instance #868) in that no one seems to have even the remotest clue how to put out this inferno or begin to clean things up. All that William and Kate and their Kensington Palace’s office have managed over the last few weeks is to create this chaotic, shambolic, out-of-control situation which is now being reported on by every major outlet globally.”

While he will soon celebrate his coronation’s first anniversary, Elser argues that King Charles will have little time to celebrate. The fact that Kate Middleton and Prince William have put themselves in this situation is one reason.

‘William and Kate are making Charles’ life a misery’

But the royal expert also says it’s because Harry and Meghan still are somewhat present—and could cause chaotic scenes.

“In years of writing about the royal family, charting their downfalls, their exits, their TV shows, podcasts, books, interviews, interviews again, births, deaths and energetic visits to waste recycling plants, I have never seen anything like the insanity, and the inanity, of the last few weeks,” Daniela Elser added.

“In Harry’s memoir Spare he recounted the father saying in 2021 during a heated scene ‘Please, boys. Don’t make my final years a misery’ – sadly, William and Kate are accidentally doing exactly that this week.”

Matthew Perry’s will reveals the establishment of a trust named after a beloved Woody Allen film character, leaving over $1 million in assets, according to legal documents obtained by DailyMail.com.

The late Friends star, who tragically passed away from a ketamine overdose at the age of 54 on October 28, 2023, devised a will in 2009, expressing his desire to allocate “a majority of his belongings to a trust.”

This trust, titled the Alvy Singer Living Trust, pays homage to Allen’s iconic character from the 1977 film Annie Hall. Documents specify the value of Perry’s personal property at “a little over $1 million,” representing additional assets outside of his private trust.

With an estimated net worth of $120 million, Perry made a provision in his will stating that any children he might have after 2009 were not explicitly entitled to his fortune.

Isa Ferguson and Robin Ruzan, ex-wife of Mike Myers, serve as co-executors of the will. Both Perry and Ruzan collaborated on the game show Celebrity Liar during the 2010s. Beneficiaries of the trust include Perry’s father John Perry, mother Suzanne Morrison, half-sister Caitlin Morrison, and ex-girlfriend Rachel Dunn, whom he dated from 2003 to 2005. Perry signed the will on October 26, 2009.

As the famed Chandler Bing on Friends from 1994 to 2004, Perry reportedly earned $20 million annually in residuals from the show. It’s anticipated that Perry’s parents will manage his acting royalties and other aspects of his estate, including his 2022 memoir, according to Tasha Dickinson, a trusts and estates partner at Day Pitney.

Perry’s autopsy revealed that he died from the acute effects of ketamine and drowning, with ketamine levels in his system comparable to those of a hospital patient under general anesthesia. The Los Angeles coroner’s office cited drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine as contributing factors to his death, ruling it an accident.

Despite undergoing ketamine infusion therapy for depression, Perry hadn’t received treatment for a week and a half before his demise. The high ketamine levels in his bloodstream, according to medical examiner Raffi Djabourian, would lead to cardiovascular overstimulation and respiratory depression, contributing to his death. Perry’s blood ketamine levels were significantly elevated, while tests indicated the absence of alcohol, cocaine, heroin, meth, or fentanyl.

Perry was found unresponsive in the hot tub at his Los Angeles residence on October 28, stunning the entertainment industry and grieving fans worldwide. His death highlights the complexities of mental health treatment and the risks associated with certain medications.

It wouldn’t really be the Oscars if there wasn’t some sort of on-stage slip-up or gaffe, would it?

This year’s bungle – missed by absolutely no one, we might add – saw legendary actor Al Pacino prematurely announce the Academy Award for Best Picture in what some people are referring to as the biggest mistake since the La La Land/Moonlight mixup of 2016.

When called upon to present the award for Best Picture, Al Pacino skipped over the nominees entirely – no small error given that Best Picture is largely considered the biggest of all the awards to be handed out.

Now, unless you’re a complete stranger to awards season in the film industry, you’ll be familiar with how standard operating procedure works relating to the presenting of awards.

The presenter – usually a high-profile name within the industry – takes to the stage and first reads the nominations for the category in question. This is not only to remind people of who’s in with a chance of winning, but also to ensure that each and every nominee is given their rightful recognition.

At last night’s 96th Academy Awards, however, actor Al Pacino leapt over that pivotal part of the process, instead opening the envelope and announcing Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer as the winner in the Best Picture category instead.

In addition to Best Picture, Oppenheimer took home six additional awards last night, including those of Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor.

Pacino’s premature announcement was a major talking point last night, with internet users unable to keep themselves from commenting. It should be noted that most people saw the mistake through a humorous lens.

 “Al Pacino creating a Moonlight/La La Land moment while still reading the right name. Master class,” one person wrote.

A second added: “Whatever just happened with the Best Picture presentation wasn’t a La La Land/Moonlight screwup, but Pacino just blurting out ‘I see Oppenheimer here!’ was definitely not how it was supposed to go.”

A third joked: “If Al Pacino said the winner was La La Land that would have been the best moment of the night.”

The La La Land references hark back to 2016, when the award for Best Picture was wrongly announced as going to La La Land instead of Moonlight. Making matters worse, people were in the middle of acceptance speeches when the mistake was relayed.

As per reports, on that occasion the announcer had been given the envelope for Best Actress (won by Emma Stone in La La Land) instead of that of Best Picture.

Ariana Grande’s new single The Boy is Mine was a ‘slap in the face’ for her boyfriend Ethan Slater’s wife, according to insiders, who claim she believes the singer is ‘rubbing it in’ that she ‘stole him’ from her.

Broadway star Slater, 31, split from his former high school sweetheart Lilly Jay, with whom he has a one-year-old son, after striking up a controversial new romance with Grande, 30, while working on Wicked last year.

The pair were plagued with cheating allegations – something sources close to them vehemently denied – but Grande appears to have refueled speculation with her latest single, in which she sings: ‘Please know this ain’t what I planned for… Something about him is made for somebody like me.’

Taking aim at the track, a source close to Jay told DailyMail.com: ‘Ariana’s new album just shows what kind of woman she truly is. To sing a song called The Boy Is Mine is not only a slap in the face to his still wife Lilly, but a slap in the face to all women.

Released on March 8, The Boy is Mine is the second single from her album Eternal Sunshine and sees her singing about a man she shouldn’t date because she ‘don’t wanna ’cause no scene’ as she is ‘usually so unproblematic.’

Other lyrics include: ‘The boy is mine/ I can’t wait to try him/ Le-let’s get intertwined/ The stars, they aligned.’

‘Ariana left nothing up to interpretation,’ the source continued. ‘She spelled it out and those close to Lilly believe she did this because she is upset that Ethan’s divorce is still dragging out.

‘She wants him all to herself and feels that – because he is still legally married – she cannot truly have him.’

They finished: ‘Everyone close to Lilly, and who knows Ethan, is just waiting for karma to slap him and Ariana in the face. It will come.’

Last week Grande described The Boy is Mine as a ‘bad girl anthem,’ telling Zane Lowe: ‘This is a very bad idea, I think, but there is a large group of my fans that really, they do love a bad girl anthem. And this is, I think, I kind of an elevated version of that.’

She was previously lambasted for her single Yes, And? which appears to take aim at the hate she received over her romance with Slater.

Following the song’s release on January 12, a source close to Jay spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com and slammed the Dangerous Woman singer for her ‘disrespectful’ attitude.

‘For her to take the opportunity in her first song since all of this went down to show a complete lack of remorse for her actions is utterly disrespectful,’ the insider raged.

‘Ariana is dating a man who is still married. She is flaunting her relationship with a married man – a married man who has a one-year-old child at home with his still wife. Yes, Ariana has destroyed a home and she does not seem to care.’

It was first reported in July last year that Grande and Slater were dating, just days after news of her split from ex-husband Dalton Gomez, 28, broke, and Slater filed for divorce from Jay.

The pair first met in December 2022 on the UK set of the film adaptation of the smash-hit musical, in which Grande plays Glinda – the good witch – alongside Slater as munchkin Boq.

In November 2023, it was reported that the duo had taken their relationship to the next level, with Grande said to be living with the actor in New York City, during his turn in Broadway musical Spamalot.

Jay was left heartbroken by the breakdown of her marriage and felt ‘betrayed’ by Grande who had spent time with herself and Slater while they were still together.

Slater and Jay are currently in the midst of finalizing their divorce. Grande and Gomez’s was finalized on October 6.

Rizzo also expressed her gratitude to Saget’s daughters, Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer. Saget shared the three girls with his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer. In another video, Rizzo said that she felt blessed by all the support she had from Saget’s loved ones.

“We don’t want you to be lonely,” they told her. “We want you to be happy. We love you. We trust you to do what’s right. We know you loved our dad, and he would want you to be happy.”

As she embarked on a new chapter, Rizzo made clear that she still had a lot of love for Saget in her heart. “I was concerned about how I was going to move on and find someone who really appreciates what I went through,” she admits. “I understand that Bob is always going to be a part of my life, and I’m very fortunate that I was able to find someone who holds space for and appreciates it.”

Saget died at the age of 65 years old on January 9, 2022. He was found dead in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida. His cause of death was ruled as accidental health trauma.

Olivia Munn has revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year – having undergone four surgeries in the last 10 months.

The actress, 43, took to Instagram earlier today to issue a startling health update.

She wrote: ‘In February of 2023, in an effort to be more proactive about my health, I took a genetic test that checks you for 90 cancer genes. I tested negative for all, including BRCA (the most well-known breast cancer gene).

‘My sister Sara had just tested negative as well. We called each other and high-fived over the phone. The same winter I also had a negative mammogram.

‘Two months later I was diagnosed with breast cancer.’

She continued: ‘In the past ten months I have had four surgeries, so many days spent in bed I can’t even count and have learned more about cancer, cancer treatment and hormones than I could ever have imagined.

‘Surprisingly, I’ve only cried twice. I guess I haven’t felt like there was time to cry. My focus narrowed and I tabled my emotions that I felt would interfere with my ability to stay clearheaded.

‘I’ve tended to let people see me when I have energy, when I can get dressed and get out of the house, when I can take my baby boy to the park. I’ve kept the diagnosis and the worry and the recovery and the pain medicine and the paper gowns private.

‘I needed to catch my breath and get through some of the hardest parts before sharing.’

Olivia went on to praise her OBGYN for deciding to calculate her Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Score, adding: ‘The fact she did saved my life.’

‘Dr. Aliabadi looked at factors like my age, familial breast cancer history, and the fact I had my first child after the age of 30. She discovered my lifetime risk was at 37 per cent.

‘Because of that score I was sent to get an MRI, which led to an ultrasound, which then led to a biopsy. The biopsy showed I had Luminal B cancer in both breasts. Luminal B is an aggressive, fast moving cancer.

’30 days after that biopsy I had a double mastectomy. I went from feeling completely fine one day, to waking up in a hospital bed after a 10-hour surgery the next.’

John, 41, showed his support in a comment that read: ‘Thank you for fighting so hard to be here for us. Malc and I adore you.’

Olivia, who attended the Oscars 2024 at the weekend alongside John Mulaney, added: ‘I’m lucky. We caught it with enough time that I had options. I want the same for any woman who might have to face this one day.’

She then urged her followers to ask their doctors to calculate their Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Score as well as insisting women keep up with their annual mammograms and breast MRIs.

‘I’m so thankful to my friends and family for loving me through this. I’m so thankful to John for the nights he spent researching what every operation and medication meant and what side effects and recovery I could expect.

‘For being there before I went into each surgery and being there when I woke up, always placing framed photos of our little boy Malcolm so it would be the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes,’ the star wrote.

Olivia concluded: ‘Thank you to the friends who’ve had breast cancer and the friends who connected me to friends who have had breast cancer for guiding me through some of my most uncertain and overwhelming months.

‘I am extremely grateful for nurses, patient coordinators and staff at the Cedars-Sinai in LA and Saint John’s in Santa Monica. I want to specifically thank my surgical oncologist Dr. Armando Giuliano, my reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Jay Orringer, my oncologist Dr. Monica Mita and especially my guardian angel, Dr. Thais Aliabadi.’
